Battery didn't work
Specifically bought Duracell thinking they would last. I was so sure if the quality that when my remote didn't work I bought a new remote, then when they didn't work with the Duracell I couldn't believe it had to be the battery. Took an old one out of a string light remote and now I have 2 remotes. Very disappointed in the battery quality, which was within it's usage date.
