Not exciting… but absolutely essential. They last, they don't die randomly, and they show up when you need them—smoke detectors, thermometers, random things you forgot even take a 9V. You pay a little more, but you're not constantly replacing them or second guessing if it's the battery. One of those “buy it once, don't think about it again for a long time” items. Reliable, boring, perfect.
Duracell Coppertop 9v have always been reliable power source. A long lasting battery for Fire Alarms and items like my talking scale. It been over 10 years for my bathroom scale and even years of power for my Fire alarms.
We use these Duracell Coppertop 9V Alkaline Batteries 2/PK in our smoke dectectors and thesy last a long time! We bought our home February 2010 and have only had to replace these batteries twice so far. I am sure we will need to buy some more maybe next year since the first ones lasted around 6 years before we replaced them. Even though they suggest they are good for 5 years they can last longer if the smoke detectors do not go off much. When I used to burn food my smoke detectors went off very often. lol We started using the Duracell brand and my cooking has improved very much. I would recommend these batteries to everyone.
Short and simple, the batteries worked. Very satisfied, they went into the devices just fine and had no problems with them. I've noticed that this brand has the best 9volts and until I have a bad experience I'm sticking with it. The life expectancy is long and that is what I want.
we use these batteries for our smoke detectors because they have a 5 year date. and they do last 5 years almost exactly. since we change them all at the same time they all go out at the same time. be careful to check the date on the battery because the first order we received showed a less than 2 year life. We returned these and reorder. the new order was fine.
Duracell batteries last a long time. They have been around for a long time and are good quality batteries. They are great for smoke alarms. It's so important to keep a quality batteries in each smoke alarm in your home for your safety. It could save your life. Batteries need to be checked on a regular basis tor corrosion. It's also helpful to include batteries in your emergency kits.
I purchased these Duracell 9V batteries for my smoke alarms because I was growing tired of the beeping. Other batteries that I purchased in the past (mainly from Dollar Tree) did not last long. So far these batteries have been holding up, while the price is kinda expensive the overall value is worth it.
The price was comparable to the competition. They were charged upon arrival. We will need to see how long they last. We bought them for a TENS device. So far so good. Four sessions completed and still test full of power.
It said 5 years guarantee but when I opened the package the battery shown 4/2029. I received on 4/4/2026. That means the battery will last only 3 years. It is cheating !!!
My delivery on November 6. I sent off a long message. On here on the 8th. It's pretty obvious you do not follow up on messages especially if they are a negative one. I'd be more than happy to pursue this complaint I have and explained in the first response.
