I have this in my finished basement laundry, where previously, the humidity was in the 60% range so far this year and relatively chilly in the mid 60°. After setting this dehumidifier up with the automatic pump draining into the washer drain, the humidity has been at a constant 35 - 37% and warmed to 70°. I can't hear it running upstairs, and there is no action required to keep it running as everything is automatic. I'm very happy with this product.

It is working great taking a lot of water out of my basement. I empty it twice a day over a gallon each time. Basement is getting drier the musty smell is getting less.

Expensive but works well. I bought an extended drain hose so now I never have to empty. I can tell it has taken a lot of the humidity and smell from my basement
