DuraComfort Dehumidifier for Basement Home with Pump,4500 Sq.ft 50 Pints With WiFi

I have a finished basement and have had at least 6-8 dehumidifiers. over the years. They usually last 18 to 24 months and then either stop working or "freeze up". The last one was a Medea which didn't last a year before dying. The GE models seem to do fairly well but have gotten fairly expensive. I wasn't familiar with the Duracomfort brand but so far it is doing well.Its pumping function seems to be particularly effective. The noise level is average. The big question is " how long will it last?" Time will tell. So far, so good. At this point, I would recommend it to others. (IT also has an app for your phone which is handy. Usually I can turn it off when trying to watch TV).

I have a barn office. I haven't finished putting in heating and cooling. This is doing a really good job keeping mold down from as warmest become in the office due to the cold outside Barn. I would consider bringing one of these in to try in my bedroom during the summer months

2 years ago I bought the most expensive brand dehumidifier thinking it would last. Threw it out after it made lot of noise %26 little moisture removal. Bought the DuraComfort unit %26 I absolutely love this humidifier because of price, it is very quiet %26 pump works great so no dumping pan. Quality dehumidifier that keeps up with humid conditions.

Pros: Quiet, Large Reservoir, pump with hose, easy to use/program, remote control Cons: None so far This dehumidifier does exactly what it needs to do. I haven't had it very long so I cannot attest to it's longevity. It was easy to set up and program. It runs when it needs to and with the hose I do not have to check on it or empty the reservoir.

Several weeks in and so far working well. The pump feature is worth the extra expense. Need to read the back panel to ensure the hose is attached correctly or it won't work.

so far im on day 3 and its working great it is really quiet and its been really humid out so im having to dump it every day ill update if anything changes but so far ive had no issues

The screen was removed and cleaned several times as directed. Actually more as the CF does not turn off even after holding button as directed but works very well and easy to keep clean.

Runs quietly does not seem to pull out as much moisture and keep humidity where the dials are set as my last dehumidifier. I purchased an extended warranty because only time will tell how long Yaufey dura comfort 50 pint with Wi-Fi and pump will operate. Don't like only way to correspond with company is by email. Price was still over $200. Do like easy to move on its wheels.

I had this dehumidifier in the box for a while. When I finally needed it about a week ago, I plugged it in, and I thought it was working. I came down an hour later. And it was displaying E5. I've attached a photo. I don't have access to the waistline in the ceiling, so I did not have the pump turned on I believe the E5 error has to do with the pump. I followed all the instructions in the manual for the E5 error. I would like to exchange this pump for the same model. I think I just got it with a bad pump.

The box came in with no damage that was the 1 star! There was an Error code on the humidity sensor. Had to return same day it was delivered and no option to exchange. But the refund process was easy and Walmart was extremely helpful!
