This is a great unit
Replaced Gas Logs Works great. Remote works through the screen that was in the gas log unit. We made a mistake and bought a NON vented gas fireplace. Terrible smell but did get hot. Now no smell and this one has a setting to crack like a real fire place

Excellent product especially for the price
I love this. Pleasantly surprised at the crackling sound which was quiet at the beginning but got louder after about 10 minutes. We put it in a wood burning fireplace and the ambiance is great. The heating unit works well and the flames are realistic.

Nice fire look without the fire and smoke
Looking for something that would fit in our fireplace and look nice since our chimney will not allow proper smoke to draw out. Our neighbor had this and I really liked the simplicity and nice fire look that it had as well as the crackling sound. It met my expectations. The heater portion is not much to speak of, but that is not a huge concern for me.

Fantastic!
Well the first one I received was faulty. It made a grinding noice the entire time it was on, even without the crackling sound on. I contacted customer service and they asked for a video of the unit being faulty. They then told me to cut the cord and sent me a replacement. The replacement showed up within the week, very quick. It has worked magnificently. I'm overall pleased with this fireplace insert and very satisfied with the customer service! Looks and sounds like a real fire! The heater feature works well also.

Duraflame Relaxation
Really enjoying this log set. The crackling sound is very realistic. The heater is good but takes quite a while to heat up room. Also sets off a beautiful ambience. I highly recommend.

Just what I was looking for! Very happy!
Perfect right out of the box! Put it in the fireplace and it fit perfectly. Plugged it and everything works as it should. I have seen the exact same heater selling for $249. I got a great deal here and paid $135. Thank you!!

These look really good and I love the sound
These are really fantastic. I ordered them from Walmart so I could return if I didnt like the email but no worries - I like them a lot. They look great. Im very happy with the outcome.

I bought one for my daughters new house. The fireplace is sealed up. She loves it. The remote control and the crackling sound makes it look realistic.
