Really helps the fire last a lot longing. My family and I were able to really enjoy our bond fire without having to constantly restart the fire. Loved it!!!
I use them for outdoor fires. They do take a second to light but if stacked criss cross they will light and burn slow. I don't have to use any paper or small brush to assist. I can get 6 to 8 fires going from 1 pack. Great product for camping or the back yard fire pit.
We use these to start our fireplace insert. We use a lot less paper and kindling and our fires start quicker and cleaner. A must for all your fire starting .. great product…
Great product! Very easy to use! Convenient to use both for lighting wood in our backyard fire pit or charcoal while grilling. I like that they are made from renewable ingredients.
Best fire starters only need a small piece or several quarter size pieces spread out works great too to stretch the package to last longer
What do you do with firestarters that are hard to start and stick together?
The key word is patience and a really long match.
I bought a nice new triple flame torch lighter and with those triple jets blasting on these things they wouldn't stay lit after a full minute of blasting them with the flame. I ruined my lighter trying to get these things to stay lit. I learned I had to build a very large kindling bed to get these started. But then I wonder if these are even harder to get lit than the firewood itself with the amount of kindling it took to get these lit. I battled these four times and it was the same struggle each time. Now I have to write a not so good review on a nice triple burner lighter that broke from the heat build up from trying to get these fire "starters" lit.
Dislike these . They do not light easily . i can start a fire faster with a match and twigs .
Not enough "fire stuff" on them to light wood by themselves. Sometimes you will light them and they will go out right away. Perhaps the government won't allow them to make a really strong fire starter. Back to old methods like paper, newspapers, cooking oil etc. Yuck!
