This air unit is quiet, has several settings including sleep mode, attractive to look at and has a remote. Highly recommend it!

Easy plug and play . . . It went right into the existing wall sleeve and started right up ! !

So this has been the 3rd air conditioning unit I purchased for a 2nd floor large open room apartment with two small bedrooms and it has been the best one yet. Cools down the room very quickly. I was able to install with the help of one other person to help lift it to put into the wall. Price was great and it has everything I needed. I have had it for about 3 months now with no issues and works fantastically.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works really well. You do have to point the remote directly at the panel on the ac to get it to work, but that's ok. I have a studio apt. and it cools the entire space down pretty quickly. Would recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to replace existing air conditioner. Simple instalation, but required two people to lift into place. It was lighter than the one that was removed. It is very simple to operate with the remote control easy to learn and all the features you would want. The multiple fan speeds help to make the cooling comfortable and somewhat consistent throughout the cooling area. Also, the optional automatic settings work well an add to the ease of operation. Overall, terrific value.

Frame for the wall sleeve was a bit small and did not close around the sleeve. The louvers for the air conditioner were flimsy and broke during installation. Otherwise, the air conditioner is sturdy and easy to use. The air filter is terrific. It is easy to clean and is re-usable.

Air Conditioner and sleeve arrived quickly and in good condition. I ordered the wrong plug type (15A when needed 30A) but once socket was changed it worked well. One of the inclined foam wedges adhesive would not stick making the process of putting the AC into the sleeve difficult. The screws that went through the housing to attach/secure to studs also seemed too long and caught on AC unit (it was a tight fit).

So I purchased this for my 648sqt apartment and the units compressor shuts off within minutes of me turning it on and I've replacements twice and each one has not delivered. I have paid the extra bucks and had an electrician to come out check specs with the proper volts to be compatible with this unit and everything checks out and troubleshooted this unit in all of what Edgestar and the manuel has instructed me to do,so my request is either a refund or a replacement unit with the same specs but a different brand name LG, Fridgedaire , Keystone someone other than this brand please somebody help

Unfortunately I had to make a rushed AC unit purchase due to an incoming heat wave and got stuck with this. It's super loud, comparable to standing next to an idling car and there's a constant rattling inside. Also, the energy saver function does not work. I've been turning it on before leaving home so it can maintain the temperature and I come back and it's hotter than what I set the unit at. It's a bummer I can't return it so I guess I'm stuck with it for now. The one positive of the purchase was the 2 day shipping which was appreciated since I wanted it asap.
