It's great and just in time for the heat!!!! Living at the beach AC is a necessity. Order was quick.
I purchased this ac and its great, nice and quiet ,and cools wonderful so glad i found your company .i will recomend to my friends and family
Easy to install and works well and very competitively priced.
I bought two of these air conditioners. Shipment was timely and packaging with excellent. We were worried that the units might not fit in the wall, but fortunately there was 1/4" to spare. The units are solid and worked immediately. Interface was simple to understand; I pushed on, and set the temp. Both units are quiet and push out cold air. I wouldn't hesitate making this purchase again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this unit installed by our contractor through a wall in our upstairs master bedroom with it facing toward our upstairs hallway. We also have a ceiling fan in this room. We have no central A/C upstairs and this unit, with ceiling fan circulating the cool air, keeps our entire 4 bedroom upstairs a comfortable cool of 72 degrees when it's 92 degrees outside, even using the power saver feature. When run on "low fan", it is nicely quiet for sleeping. The remote control is a handy feature. We are perfectly happy with this unit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this product, I have 3 wall units just installed, other two are LG and Frigidaire, this being the cheapest of all three, does the best cooking, very happy with it.
Extremely good value! Cools down a 14x10 bedroom easily, my only wish is that it is quieter.
This unit works perfectly to cool the rear addition bedroom area and allows the main unit to be turned off at night, saving the homeowner on utilities. The installation was straightforward and the bezel front and sleeve gave a finished appearance. It is nice not to interfere with the windows at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a professional installer so my explanation below might help other DIY's. I was replacing an old AMANA through the wall unit and needed to expand the opening width by 1.5". The installation instructions and process went well. The unit is relatively quiet and ran well for the remaining summer months. Only concern is water draining. The Wall sleeve is solid on all four sides and the instructions call for a level install. When you slide the unit in the sleeve, the dense foam wedge insert create drainage tilt (and also dampen vibration I think). Problem is the water from the unit drains to the sleeve and then sits in the sleeve since the sleeve was installed level. Monitoring that the condensate water doesn't leak back into the house or wall. It was too late in the install process when I figured I should have tiled the sleeve a bit. Once the sleeve is installed with a tight fit, you will ruin it to pull it out. I think I'll try drilling some holes in the sleeve bottom in the spring.
The AC seems fine, but the remote design is really lousy, no surprise they have no pics of them on the sites. Somebody thought it was cool to have it Apple style without thinking about functionally. Unless you are 2 feet from the AC you have no idea what you are doing with the remote. It has a mode button and a button called one touch and you have no idea if you are in cold, dry or other mode. Even the old Friedrich ACs show you what mode you are in on the remote.
