[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered this window A/C because it is relatively compact compared to others in this BTU range. It fit in our space and cools the entire first floor of our house. Energy efficient and all features work as advertised.

I am most impressed with these people. My Cr. Card made an error and these people accepted the dup. shipment w/o no problems. The sales rep was most informed, shipping was easily accomplished. I ordered 3 units and am very very pleased with them. Single problem? I cannot figure out the remotes but that's a minor issue. Px is right!

Good design and controls are easy to follow. Keeps our bedroom nice and cool all the time. Received all the help I needed to decide on this buy.

Pros: Compact size. Relatively light weight. Fully functional remote control. Exposed control panel for manual adjustments. Energy Star Rated. Dehumidification setting. Fresh Air (Fan) settings. Quiet, noise-free motor and chassis. Wide range of temp settings. Will cool a room very quickly. Generous power cord length. Clear installation instructions. Cons: Two philips-hd screws must first be removed, one from each side panel, to gain access to the filter. The Owner's manual does not address this.

I bought this ac last year just before summer. So far I used only for few hours in the total of summer. I liked it's cooling and it helped me in summer in San Diego coastal area. I hope it will continue to serve me.

Purchased this unit and a WAC8003WCO a little over a year ago. Purchased this brand because they were supposed to be quiet. The 8000 BTU unit definitely has been BUT the 12000 BTU unit this season sounds like the fan bearing is shot as it make a hell of a racket at any fan speed. Of course, now that it is out of warranty and we're in the middle of a heat wave, I'm stuck putting up with it. Very disappointed!
