It installed and the did the thing. I am very glad that the manufacturer switched to these types of watering nibs. The old style, which was clear and allowed you to tell if there was water in the container or not, would inevitably weather and get brittle and break. Also it had to be cleaned frequently for algae. Although I cannot see if there's algae inside of this one, it just seems like the weathering issue won't be quite as bad. I don't know, really. Quite honestly, I probably would've waited a few months to write this review but Walmart pushed me into doing it as soon as I got my product. So I have no idea how this will perform, I only know what my expectations are, based upon my observations. The chickens don't really seem to care as long as water comes out of it.
