This is a pretty good little DVD player. I've watched several DVD movies on this DVD player so far. For some reason the captions are on when you start the DVD so you need to go into your menu and turn those off, but that's no big deal. I really like this little DVD player.

Region code hack posted by 1planet1region, October 08 2022: Region 1 Proscan 1053D manufactured November 2018. On remote press Setup, new window appears. "General" column should be active. Press 1389 or 6666, see info window with region code. Use up/down arrows, change to 0 for region free. Press Setup to exit. This is a nice easy to use DVD player comes with RC cables. I believe it said on the package HDMI but there is no HDMI! only USB and the RC cables red white and yellow.

so easy to use so many options more than the blue ray player i had before this one that says a lot it also controls your tv volume its easy to use directions easy to read

I purchased this DVD player specifically because it would arrive the fastest and had HDMI. It has arrived, but does not have an HDMI port. There is a space where it looks like one should be but it is covered and not removable

Item was not delivered. Customer service and tracking show my local Waynesville Walmart has it but they claim they did not receive my dvd player… This item is not reliable from the shipper nor Walmart which show it's fulfilled by Walmart delivery not a courier.. Do not buy this item!

The DVD player did not work after I put it after I hooked it up to the TV and it was a manufacturer ship and deliver so Walmart did not sell it and I was supposed to have to deal with the manufacturer and he never responded to the Walmart inquiry so Walmart took care of it which I think is great and that's why I continue to deal with them.

id give it a 0 but it doesn't go that low!!! when I tried to return it Walmart refused,the seller refused!!!! I gave this as a gift so I purchased it early. I am so disappointed with Walmart that I don't think I'll ever shop there again!!! I tried to return it within the 30 days and they wouldn't even exchange it!! RIDICULOUS!!!

Was 2-3 days late in receiving and then DVD Player was not working, 2blue lines running in picture not usable so in process of returning and getting refund credited to me, my credit card.

I should always remember you get what you pay for, this worked for about the first 10 minutes. I was given a return request and took it to the store and it was denied after being accepted online.
