I was skeptical about ordering live plants by shipping to my home. These small dwarf pampas arrived in a timely manner and were packaged nicely to avoid damage. I was happy with the look and packaging of the 10 plants. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Cold hardy, drought resistant, thrives in full sun
I wanted to create a natural grassy plant barrier that would compliment in my coastal vibe landscaping. My order of 10 seedlings were delivered pre-watered and unharmed and I would recommend the following: - immediately transplant at least 3 plants into large pots (hint the bigger the pot the bigger they grow) - water every day for 30 days (once replanted in the ground they require much less water - I fertilized the potted plants once a week and noticed explosive growth. Height and width Foliage height: 3 to 5 feet (standard pampas grass varieties can grow to heights of 10 to 13 feet) Spread: 4 to 6 feet wide Other characteristics Plumes: Creates dramatic, creamy-white or ivory plumes in the fall. Suitability: An excellent option for smaller gardens or for use as a specimen plant. Hardiness: Generally hardy in USDA zones 7 through 10. Sunlight: Thrives in full sun.

The grass is growing despite the cold snap we had here in Florida so it appears to be very hearty and of a good quality.

These are soooo tiny. Like the size of a pencil length. Very spindly. Not sure if they will live. I planted one week ago.

Huge disappointment
I've never been so disappointed in anything I've ever ordered. The pampas grass plants cost $40 for 3 tiny sprigs. I've had little experience ordering online from Walmart but this is sure a negative one. I think I'm going to try to return them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THESE.
