[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had known about DYMO label manager 280 earlier! This is one good tool to stay organized in office as well as home. At first, I was skeptical that it would be tricky to use. But, it proved me wrong. It is a very convenient and easy to use label manager. I liked the big LCD display, which makes it easier to see the words while typing. The computer style keyboard helps in fast and easy typing. I was able to delete or add the text without any issues. I love that, I can choose from 6 font sizes and 7 text styles to design the label I want. Moreover, there are symbols and other things that can be added too. How cool is that!! I also liked the flexiblity of selecting the width of label that I need. After printing, the label is cut off with a press of side button.The label comes off easily and ready to use. Furthermore, It comes with rechargable batteries, so, no need to buy the batteries again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dymo label maker is well built with a nice keypad. The labels are easy to load and print out evenly. There is less waste from other brands I've used as well. You can use the included cable to connect to a laptop or other computer which opens up a new level of possibilities. I'm glad I gave this one a try.

We have been using for years for our medical chart endtabs. Clear and easy to read letters and quality tape sticks to the charts yet easy to remove and replace when needed (better than the alphanumeric medical chart tabs we also use that either stick forever or fall off and need to be taped back on!). Can't even say how many years we've had this but we keep a stock of label inks in one drawer and have thousands of patients - same dymo printer.

Hate to say this blows the doors off the Labelmanager PnP on relablity. Plus it's more portable too. So I can take it with me anywhere I need labels printed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dymo label maker is perfect for what I need. It's easy to use - I didn't even really need to read the instructions. I wish the screen were easier to read in certain lighting, but overall it's OK. It has a lot of different options and functions that could be useful for just about any labeling situation. The backing is easy to peel off and the labels stick really well, too. I try to do a bunch of labels at one time with spaces in between each word rather than separate labels for each one in order to save on tape. It takes a lot of batteries but it's nice that it's cordless. Works great!

This is a good label maker for a portable model. I wanted something I could carry around the house rather than just setting it in the office. I've only used it a few times, but so far it meets my needs quite well. Using it was pretty intuitive.

It is a label maker, like any other. The rechargeable battery does not last long, (regular batteries do better) and you have to charge for a long time (relative to just exchanging batteries). If I were to do it all over again: no rechargeable label maker. Dies when you nee it most , and you have to wait forever to complete your task.

I bought my dump 280 this month on the 4th and it won't turn on. I kno it's not the brand there is bad in everything. But I hop I can get a other one.

I just opened my Dymo label maker and it will not print. I've charged it and tried to print a test and it says there is a jam and to remove the cartridge. There is no jam, i've tried several times to "clear" said jam and nothing works. I replaced the cartridge and it still says there is a jam. I've searched for trouble shooting and nothing comes up. This is very disappointing.

Bought at the beginning of 2004, worked great. Battery can't hold a charge keeps stating it needs to be charged over and over again
