We purchased this one to replace our old LabelWriter 400 Turbo, which was working fine but had reached the end of Dymo's software updates. Ugh. This 550 Label Printer seems to work OK, but the new software is simply horrible. It won't pick up addresses out of my address book, and even if I enter address manually, it seems incapable of moving them to the label itself for printing. It also took about 30 minutes for the USPS bar code to appear on the new label I had to create because the software is new. Ugh.
Great Product works perfect, and the shipping was fast. Love it!!!
I returned it to the fact that it was very faint printing. Very difficult to read or identify images that were printed.
the printer is fine, but it takes some getting use to. It is somewhat different from my older model, for instance, when printing a sample label. It takes a few minutes to learn how to insert what you want on the label, because the box that you insert the title in is not easy to delete.
I love it, so handicap for my work!
I have Windows 10 Home version. Easy set up and works great
Just what I needed. Works great!
could not get software to load on my pc and make the retail labels i thought i could make with this one.
It works great
"I had an earlier version and it seemed a bit sturdier than this newer model...probably ""value engineering"". I don't like the chips in the required labels either. Dymo will eventually lose their customers by driving them away....flimsy products and tying your hands to their labels."
