Dyna-Glo DGU505BAE-D 30" Analog Black Electric Smoker

This is a perfect Smoker for those newbie's. Simple yet durable. We purchased online and it was delivered 2 days early. I was able to put together in less than 30 minutes. Directions on how to and tips was easy to use and read. Instructions for use was helpful and clear. We smoked our first piece and the smoker was perfect. I would recommend for anyone but especially if you are new to the progress.

works really well for pork butt or a couple racks of ribs. a shield over the chip tray would make it better because the fat drips into it but overall it works good

Easy to put together and simple to use. We have had it for several months now and use it at least 1-2 times a week

We love this smoker. It is our second electric one. We have a big green egg but prefer this one for smoking.

It cook very well. I love how easy it was for my first time using one. I would recommend my friend to buy one.

It's so pretty but it seems like it could've came with another rack and if you use the water tray, it get too moist and even leaks out of the smoker, even through the temp gauge. The drippings also drop into the trays below and burn to the trays and the bottom of the smoker.

It's worth the 100 bucks I paid for it. However, the door does not seal and most of the smoke just pours out the crack in the door. I had to purchase gasket tape to seal up the door. Also having issues with the heat adjuster, I don't think it works. The temperature is always the same. 225 degrees which is okay for smoking. For the price, I would still buy it. I use it twice a week. Ill probably upgrade and give this one away.

There are some flaws in the design. The compartment for the wood chip is open, so it collects moisture from the meat. For some reason, I had to keep monitoring the connection because it would stay on. I had to remove the under pan for collecting the runoff because it fills upway too easily. I had to seal the door because it wasn't properly sealed. I owed a smoker before I bought this.

If you buy from Walmart, be aware their 90 day return policy starts the day you receive it. That includes Christmas gifts that aren't even opened till Dec 25th. I purchased this item as a gift for my daughter. It kept tripping electrical breakers on its second use. We replaced the breaker with new. Same problem. Their 90 day from purchase date expired last week. We're stuck. Christmas gifts should be handled differently, in my opinion. Amazon now for me....
