Dyna-Glo Portable Gas Powered Radiant Cabinet Heater

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our daughter's family. We have several in our household and they are wonderful for taking the chill off in the evening while watching television. They are also great if the electricity goes out as they don't require any so we have heat when that happens.

Bought heater for small porch I turned into smoking room. Even with fan ventilating smoke from room heater keeps room comfortable even at low setting. Will see how it handles colder temps later in winter, but should have plenty of heat at higher settings. Worked first time right out of the box.

I live in the country and my house is total electric. I bought this heater to help heat the house if we loose electric, which happens several times a year. I have not had a chance to use this; however we have hooked it up to the propane and started it up. I was so excited, I love the look. You can't tell that its ran on propane. The tank fits right into the back with a brace to help secure it in place. It started easily and started warming up immediately. I was almost hoping the electric would go out so I could use it.

It heats up an area surprisingly fast and makes very economical use of propane. Super easy to fire up. We love that the pilot does not stay lit to burn up fuel, but it so easy start.

I bought this heater to use in my garage while doing maintenance on my car. Heats the garage quickly and is adjustable to maintain a comfortable temperature.

This is my second purchase of one of these heaters. I like my first one enough to buy another one. I did some research online and watched videos that people made about use of this heater before my first purchase. This heater usually lights with three or four clicks of the button. Puts out a lot of heat. I have a carbon monoxide detector and a propane detector and neither detector indicate any detection or leaks. I use this heater to heat a 800 sq ft room and it works great. With no detection on the carbon monoxide or propane detectors the main concern to me only seems to be providing fresh air supply by which I solve by opening a window about a half inch. Keep in mind that this heater is not recommended for indoor use but it works great for me.

I purchased this about 2 months ago and it does exactly what I need. I have a screened porch and this keeps it nice and toasty. It is easy to light and my propane level has barely moved. Only down side, if there is any wind, the pilot will not stay lit.

This is my third heater, it seems to work perfect for about a year then I start having trouble getting it to light and stay on, I often hold the Pilot button down for up to five minutes and it still won't stay on, and if it does light it often shuts off all by itself! Other than that it really puts out the heat and I find it very economical!

I bought this heater less than a month ago and the pilot light will not light. Can hold the button down for 5 plus minutes and release it so the pilot light will stay on and thus can light the rest of the heater. Instead of staying on the pilot light goes out. Can not use it like this. Very dissatisfied with this heater...

I didn't get to see how well it worked because it wouldn't stay lit. It would stay lit for anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes and then the whole system would shut down. I was trying to use it in a 21 by 24 foot work shop, so there's no way all the oxygen would be used up in that amount of time. Very DISAPPOINTED !!!
