Works well and seems to be a quality product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the HeatAround 360 and put it to work immediately on our deck. For being the size of a lantern, the HeatAround throws off a great deal of heat - comfortable for about a dozen folks on a 16x25 deck. We tried it inside the kitchen because the sensor gives us confidence that it will warn us if there are fumes - and after 30 minutes of use, no alarms! Great unit, simple design, excellent price.
It was a bit difficult to get the pilot light to ignite the first time out of the box but since then no problems. Wish the deflector worked better because a lot of heat still travels straight up. feels warm within 5 feet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
What shoppers should know is that they don't even supply you with a small propane tank to get the whole thing going. Not only that but they don't tell you that in the ad, plus they don't even offer you a change to buy a tank along with the furnace.
I can get the unit to light but when I let pressure off the knob it cuts off and won't stay lit. What do I need to do?
I wasn't happy with this purchase because when I received the item it didn't work at all. So I returned it by mail and still haven't been credited back to my Affirm account
what a wordless heater. it makes a loud pop and goes out in the slightest breeze. it does not matter if you use a 20 pound tank or a 1 pound it is scary and stops working. I have had mime 2 weeks.
This can not operate outdoors with any wind or the pilot goes out. Puts out good amount of heat, but wont stay lit. I purchased- used once, and returned.
I have had this for less than a year and there is no gas flow to the pilot in any position of the knob when pressed. Tried 1 lb and 20 lb fuel source.
I want to start by saying that I have never posted a review of any kind online before in my life. I have always wondered if it is actually the manufacturers that write/post the especially glowing or overly articulate but always insanely positive product reviews. After experiencing this product for myself, I would put money on the fact that the positive reviews for this 360 heater are written by an employee of the manufacturer and not Joe-Public like me that actually bought one of these wastes of time and money. I am so frustrated and disappointed with this product that I am actually taking the time to write my first review. I purchased the Dyna-Glow HeatAround 360 Red yesterday after a week of researching propane space heaters. This is what I get for trying to save a couple bucks! I got this thing to light 1 time. That was it. just once. It ran well for about 5 minuted that I turned it off because I had to leave and didn't want it running unattended. less than an hour later, I tried to light it again... Nothing. I followed the instructions to the letter and it will not light. I can get the pilot lit (keeping the knob pushed in for any amount of time) but as soon as you release the knob, it dies. Several people now have tried to get this lit by counting anywhere 5 seconds to 120 seconds before releasing the knob and it will not fire up. We all get the pilot light ignited but it dies as soon as you release the knob. I have tried with 4 different brand new propane cylinders and still nothing. I've had it with this heater. Strange, not one mention of any issue trying to get this piece lit in the reviews posted on the manufacturers website... Sure, those reviews are authentic!
