It may be frustrating to some at first if you can't figure out how to use it. I, for instance, got it going on the 3rd attempt with my right hand, but I still struggle to get it going with my left. But I think it's a great way to improve dexterity on both hands, and I can definitely feel the tension on the upper forearm after a minute of use, so it's working some muscles to some extent. Good product. Happy with purchase.

Learning more as I use it.
getting it going is not the challenge. For me keeping it going is the challenge. I am right handed and it wears out my left arm fast. I am 54yrs old and need to strengthen hands and I think I found my challenge.

Efficient at strengthening hand
This is my third dynaflex hand and arm strengthening ball. The first two had an arm attached to the ball, but could only find the ball this time. I personally like the prior better but the ball does work well. It's pretty easy to start the gyro. It's a great way to strengthen your hands and forearms. I use it for golfers elbow.
