Worked perfectly when traveling after surgery
Had to have a surgery in FL and then the following day fly to OK. Had no problems declaring it through security. Worked perfectly for my needs. Would do again if even in the same situation. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Can be challenging to rupture the internal pouch
These cold packs are very convenient. Squeezing the sides to rupture the pouch is usually difficult for us, so we use a very lightweight, wooden crab mallet to accomplish this. Occasionally, the pack will break open and leak fluid, although the pouch is still unbroken.

do not waste your money
Half of these did not work -very disappointed in their product

Don't waste your money!
Once activating the cold pack the coolness only lasted maybe 5-6 minutes. This was not a good purchase. I was looking for something to use during resect power outage to ice an injury and product is not worth the price and does not fit description of product. Would like to return, but not sure if I can due to using one to see if it worked.

Whimpy cool packs
Once squeezed it cooled to 68 F in 8 minutes. The plastic containing chem reaction has sharp edges, but the "cold" couldn't penetrate 1 ply cotton for ANY therapeutic ability.
