Pretty quiet at idle with a nice rumble.
I have a mild 350 Chevy in a 71 Nova with mid-length headers, full exhaust to bumper, and no crossover tube. These are pretty quiet at idle while still having a nice rumble.They have an awesome bark when revved and really come to life when you put the hammer down.They also fit the Nova floorpan a lot better than the high decibel Thrush welded mufflers they replaced, leaving more clearance all the way around. I just drove the car on a 800 mile trip. I had no drone issues like I had with the welded Thrush from last summer, and my ears aren't ringing. My 11 year old daughter wouldn't even ride in the car anymore...but she loves my new Dynomax Super Turbo's and will roadtrip once again.

great muffler. dynomax rocks !!!
better than all the other turbo and welded mufflers. the deflectors and sound deading helps keep out the drone. mellowest performance muffler you can get.
