Dyson Car+Boat Handheld Vacuum | Silver | New

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product that has made my life much easier - With two dogs to walk everyday, at this time of year my car gets covered with mud. This handheld vacuum, which is light and easy to use, has a great brush attachment which gets off the mud (and dog hairs) and the nozzle lets you get into the gaps between the seats which are normally inaccessible. I no longer have to be embarrassed about the state of my car and the dogs also love it as they can jump in without being shouted at! PS its also good for stairs and getting into dark corners as its so manoeuvrable!

I have been obsessed with this vacuum. I can't believe how much dirt and dog hair it picks up. It is so satisfying to see how much it picks up. I use it absolutely everywhere. The only negative is that the charge doesn't last long at all, and it takes a very long time to charge. I've learned to move fast and I use it a few times a day once it is charged.

Overall, I love my Car+Boat handheld. It is perfect for small jobs and when I don't want to get my slightly heavier Dyson Outsize out of the closet. Great suction, the same great attachments that I'm accustomed to, and long lasting battery life. The only way it could be better in my opinion is if it had interchangeable batteries so I could charge and continue to vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked by dyson to review the Handheld Car & Boot vacuum cleaner. as soon as it arrived I tried it out on my stairs which are carpeted, initially found it quite heavy but easy enough to use, it done a great job used on the max setting but ran out of charge on my last stair, I have 13. Recharged it for the following day as my husband cleans our cars weekly. It was used on max setting and ran out of charge after 10 minutes, which is very disappointing , the tools are good and easy to use on it, again done a great job, but couldn't finish cleaning as the charge had ran out.

I had the previous version for 11 years and found the latest version as a replacement heavier and at max suction the battery used up quickly were the older version seemed the same suction but lasted longer which surprised me after 11 years with older version Summary ok machine , battery, suction ok but surprised older machine better than new?

Unfortunately I am disappointed in this product particularly for the price paid. The battery charge is poor particularly when using the max suction, only lasting up to 10 mins. The crevice tool attachment is a bit big for cleaning some parts of the inside of the car too. On the plus side the vacuum is lightweight, compact and was easy to set up.

Too heavy, limited attachments. So why does every Dyson you buy, and we have bought a few, have unique fittings for attachment and chargers? This will be the last I feel.

I bought this a month ago and I wish I hadn't. The battery lasts 5 minutes max. I love the design, but I could have purchased a vacuum at a third of the price with a longer lasting battery.

The two main parts to the product jammed after only a handful of uses rendering the vacuum unusable. Complained to Dyson who sent DPD to collect but DPD didn't bring the returns label so needed to return two days later. They returned but again didn't bring a returns label, so we had to book a third visit. They didn't show up for the third visit. We made sure we were at home for all three visits. We are now left with a dud to be returned.
