Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 | Black/Nickel | New

Bought during the last hot spell we had and what a lifesaver it turned out to be for the dogs. We live open plan so I was worried we wouldn't get any benefit with it being a large area to cover but I need not have worried as it kept the area cool. It is very quiet and the airflow is generous. Very easy to set up and operate using an App so do not need to get up to operate airflow or oscillation. Great feature is the timer so no need to worry if you fall asleep with it running unnecessarily. If you want it to run all night then the night settings quieten it even further. Great feature is seeing air quality due to the filtration settings as a couple who vape I can see it go red when my partner's vape is being used. As a menopausal women it has been a godsend and even with the hot spell we have yet to run it on a setting higher than 7. The dogs lie in front of this now even when not running. Only downside is the appearance as they are not the greatest looking piece of kit. I would prefer it to blend in slightly but no fan does that anyway regardless of make.

This is my second Dyson, originally I purchased the heat/cool unit for the living room, this time I bought the cool for the bedroom. I absolutely love the filtration, air movement and overall design. I would highly recommend these products without any exceptions!! The app makes it even better experience, exceptional overall!!!

I bought the PC1 fan/air purifier recently and am very satisfied with its performance. The airflow is good and very cooling. The angle of rotation is also very good and easy to alter from 45 to a higher rotational degree. I also bought one for my daughter who is also very pleased with it.

Was looking for a fan. Decided to buy the combination air purifier/cooling fan. I guess the air in my home is pretty good already, so i may not have needed that feature. The cooling from the fan is okay but not as good as i expected, not even on level 10. I should have done more research. I would not buy this one if I could go back in time. Mostly because i did not really need the air purifier feature after all.

I thought this would be an updated version of the TP07, but it doesn't measure room temperature & so I will be replacing it with the PC2 model instead, which does measure room temperature.

We've long bought Dyson products. So despite the considerable inflated price we bought the Air Purifier on ‘a Curry's deal' believing as with their vacuums, it will be money well spent. Sadly we are wrong. Yes, it's bladeless, relatively quiet, links to an App, impressive to look at, tells us air quality. But as a ‘fan' to cool us down during the heat waves, sadly lacking. I definitely wouldn't recommend to family or friends.

The white remote control makes it hard to see buttons and its not very responsive, have to press buttons a few times for it to do certain things i.e timer. Fan is not as powerful as ordinary fan, you need to be closer to feel the effect. I would replace however partner choose more for fact that it claims to be purifier fan.

Doesn't go cool enough and it's very loud on any setting.

I owned an older Dyson air purifying fan that worked wonderfully for me for years of almost constant use. It worked so well that I continued to use it as a fan for years after Dyson decided to stop making it (and the filters for it). It wasn't until recently that the fan started to show its age and I figured it was time to buy a replacement. Given the outstanding performance of the earlier unit I happily paid the ultra high cost for a new one, happy in the thought that I'd be given the same performance that I've enjoyed for so long now. Boy, I was wrong. This Cool PC1 is the most anemic, slow, low powered piece of doo I've ever bought. Despite having 2 extra strength settings the fan blows at only a fraction of the strength. The purifying ability is slow. Dyson has removed the back and forth (or maybe up and down) pivot for air direction. The environmental displays are more limited, and I didn't need a blasted app for the older fan. Seriously disappointed over having made this purchase
