Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer | Latest Generation | Vinca Blue/Rose

Got this as a Christmas gift 2024. I have curly hair, but diffusers never gave me a good hair day until now! I've had to re-learn how to diffuse my hair, but I'm now getting my hair to look the way I've always wanted. I have soft, springy curls from foot's to ends in about 10-15 minutes. This dryer is worth the money & a total game changer!!

Got this for Christmas, felt very lucky! It's a game changer, has my hair dried and curly within 10 mins. Disliked blow drying my hair as it had so many fly aways and looked over processed. Natural drying faired slightly better. I use the fly away implement and was amazed at the difference. I have to use hairspray with it or the fly aways return as soon as I leave the house, not sure if using fancy pre and post dry stuff would help. Daughter and granddaughter like that it's quick and less noisy than old hairdryers

I bought this about two weeks ago, and I love it. I'm a curly haired girl with A LOTTTTT of hair that's quite high porosity. I needed something to dry my wash'n'gos quickly but without damaging my hair, and it's done just that. BUY IT!! I've been eyeing this hairdryer for almost two years, and decided to finally treat myself (on sale)! No regrets, I just wish at this price point that it came with a free case to put it away in.

I had this as a gift for Xmas of my partner. I was so excited I cried. This is just amazing. Dries hair so quick and so many different attachments too. Would recommend to anyone

As a 72yr old disabled senior who prides herself on her full head of hair, I was a bit hesitate to make this large investment in a hair dryer. Am I ever glad I did! Money so well spent on a quality product that produces wonderful results! Well done Dyson!!

This is a replacement Dyson hair blower for me. My previous unit lasted 10 years. Like the unit. Dries well and quickly. For that reason I gave it 4 stars. My current problem is that the prongs on the new unit are just a little short so it pulls away and falls out of socket even if not using unit. It is quite a pain when blowing hair as it repeatedly falls out. I'd love to hear from company to this feedback as this was never an issue with old unit. The wall socket is in good working order and no other equipment or non Dyson blowers fall out currently. Happy to provide pictures if helpful Help please!

I am mind-blown!! That is all I would like to say. This one is incomparable to anything that can even come close to the experience. I can clearly see a vast difference in the quality of hair. The build, performance, style—everything is great! I do have a pet peeve - The heat and speed buttons go one step higher with every press which means if I have to go from speed 1 to 3, I would have to press the button twice. But if I have to go lower from 2 to 1, I would have to press the button 3 times - first to go one level up, second to come one level down to 2 and then the third to finally get to speed 1. This is very annoying for me and wished they had up and down buttons. It takes practice to get used to it, but I really think they should make it simpler to use instead of making users go through a learning curve for such a trivial operation. Highly recommend!

This hair dryer was an unsolicited Christmas gift. The packaging was lovely and the dryer is a work of art. It is very quiet which I appreciate. However, I am not enjoying using it. Why? First, it is quite heavy and has a bulky, stiff cord. How to travel with it? No Velcro strap provided to contain the cord. I had to provide my own. Second, and the real deal breaker - the power button and cold shot button are located on the wrong side of the dryer's grip. One normally uses a pistol-like hand grip to hold a dryer, especially one that is this heavy. It must be held close to the junction of grip and barrel. On the Dyson, the buttons are placed on the on the back side (or the exhaust side) of the grip, away from the direction the "barrel" is pointed. Unfortunately, they wind up being under the palm of my hand , in the junction between my thumb and my pointer finger because my fingers logically curl from my palm on the back side of the dryer grip to rest on the front side of the grip. Every time I want to change the speed or heat level of the blown air - or to use the "cool shot" button - I must release my grip on the heavy dryer and slip my hand down the grip to push either button with my thumb or index finger. Extremely unergonomic! I have NEVER had a hair dryer that placed its buttons thusly. Logically, they have always been easily accessible to my fingers because they are located where my finger already are - on the side of the grip that faces the front of the dryer, and the hair that is the target of the dryer. Was the usual and classic placement of these buttons deemed boring; was there a need to be different for difference's sake?

I wanted to love this dryer, especially for the price.. I expected a lot more. I have curly hair. Although it did dry my hair twice as fast, even on the lowest setting with the diffuser, my hair looked like it had been dried on high heat without a diffuser. My curls turned out super loose and not defined... I would say close to frizzy. I loved how fast it dried my hair. If there were a deeper diffuser and a lower heat setting, it would be great! On the flip side, I bought this dryer because my stylist used it on my hair when she blew it out straight. It did turn out really nice straight. It was fast to dry and style and looked very smooth It's too bad I always wear my hair curly. One more thing.. the weight of the dryer was really nice. Easy to hold.

I have had my new hair dryer about a month. I am very unhappy with it and have stopped using it. My old Dyson dried my hair quickly and efficiently. This one never gets hot enough and consequently takes forever. Cannot recommend :-(
