I've had the V15 for a month now and use it almost every day as I have a cat. This vacuum is fantastic. It gives a run for the money to they big wired ball one. The suction power is incredible. It cleans all the hair from everywhere and the different attachments are amazing. I highly recommend it!!! Especially if you have a hairy pet :).

Our current house has central air, but we are moving to a house without it. Prior to our move, we researched a number of different products, but are so happy we landed with the Dyson V15 Detect. The light revolutionizes vacuuming! That feature is so great. You can actually see when the floor is clean. The vacuum works well on our carpeted stairs as well. The digital display is also so informative, and the automatic rpm increase alerts us to some areas where more dust and dirt hide. Very cool vacuum! Very happy with this purchase.

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago. So far I am loving it. It has lots of suction and runtime. I have been using Dyson products for many years. My only complaint is with the floor dok. My old V10 was charged on the wall in a closet downstairs. I decided I wanted to keep this one upstairs, but did not want to fasten it to a wall. The dok only accommodates certain accessories as the two holders are too close to the charger to fit some accessories. Dyson makes great products. I still have and use my Dyson D25, which is about 15 years old!

I recently replaced my v11 Dyson (it finally stopped running (after many years of picking up dust, dirt and lots of pet hair) with the v15. First thing I noticed is that the suction was much stronger than the v11. I also love the green light that is on the floor attachment. Had no idea that there was so much stuff on the floor. The green light shows every speck of dirt, dust and pet hair and does not get all wrapped up on the rotating brushes. The only drawback is that I don't think the battery lasts quite as long as the v11. But my home is small and I only have carpet in one bedroom so I'm usually able to finish vacumning my house before needing to recharge. The collection cup is a bit smaller than the v11 but it's easy enough to empty so I don't mind.

This is an excellent stick vacuum. It has good section and runtime but the thing I most like is something I thought was a gimmick, the green light. I didn't see the purpose of the light until I used the vacuum on a hard surface. The light causes the dust show up plainly making it easy vacuum up. You know you are getting clean floors. Would definitely recommend.

The Dyson V15 has a lot of suction, but I gave it only 4 stars because it's much heavier and bigger than the V10. It's just larger and requires more room for storage as well as using it, I find my arm is sore from vacuuming. But I do like the product overall. I love the stand it came with, but once again it requires more room for storage. I have not had the chance to try all the attachments

The best feature is the laser light ( in medium to low lighting conditions). The issues are: 1) The suction is so high that the carpet beater bar stops. While you can adjust power and ventilation to compensate- you should not have to do so. 2) The wall mount does not hold all attachments. 3) You will need to buy additional attachments to get your jobs done- probably aftermarket attachments as the Dyson brand attachments are out of stock. 4) High power run time could be better. Style, connections, weight, dust bin ease and maneuverability are all great.

I bought this vacuum at ABT Just over a week ago. After using the Dyson vacuum, I found that it does have great suction. It also has a variety of tools to enhance your cleaning. However, it's very hard for me to use. The Vacuum is very top heavy because that's where It's placed in the charger. Also, you have to hold the trigger the whole time you vacuum. There is no on/off switch. Therefore, it's hard for me to handle the vacuum. My finger gets cramped and my arm hurts. You can't vacuum a large area because of the fatigue of using the machine with the awkwardness of holding the trigger the whole time and the weight of the top of the vacuum. I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

I bought this to replace a v10. The suction was too strong. I could not vacuum my rugs because the suction was too strong. The battery never lasted 60 minutes the longest was 48 minutes. The vacuum in not worth the expensive price. I returned the unit after trying to make it work for a few days.

Holds only a small amount of dust and dirt before you have to clean it and always seem to have a clog. I would have never purchase this product if i had known this.
