Confusion of how much your factory computer can handle is simplified through Crucial. Simple - fast download of compilation utility and before you know it you are directed to what you need exactly to maximize your computer's performance. Price very reasonable - shipped instantly and arrives in no time. Great experience.
I always buy a brand name product. Crucial has made a good name for themselves, so it's only natural that their product works well. I love their website & their computer scanner. It tells me EXACTLY what my computer has and needs for upgrading. So, SIMPLE. I will continue to purchase Crucial memory cards, DIRECTLY, from Crucial.
Customer Service Rep was excellent at helping me pick out exactly what I needed, and what would max out my memory board. I needed to increase speed since my computer was 7 years old and beginning to really drag. Has been a great workhorse, but technology was leaving her behind. The extra memory will allow me a few more years before I have to buy another one.
The best part is letting the seller determine exactly the type of memory I needed instead of a lot of searching to make sure one had memory that was appropriate. I received my memory quickly and had it installed and my computer up an running in about 10 minutes total. This would have even been quicker except that with my small footprint computer I had to remove hard drive to get to memory.
My Sony VAIO PC is over ten years old but has always been a great machine that just gradually got slower and slower. Someone suggested I increase memory. Crucial made it fool-proof to select and order the right chips. They showed how easy it was to install. Results - - going from 512 MB to 2 GB of RAM is like a new PC. I couldn't be happier
I Purchased memory from a company a few weeks ago and was very upset by the problems it caused my system, I can't afford to have my system down and the memory I got from this company did just that. I bought your memory and it was a life saver and truly works like a charm, no mistakes I made the right choice. Thanks again for your great product.
The best thing about this product is that I did not have to take the computer to a repair person who would have charged me several hundred dollars to do something that a gray-haired granny (which I am) can do herself. I realize this is a stop-gap solution and that eventually I will have to get a new computer, but for now it fills the need.
To upgrade our computers to operate the latest version of Auto-CAD, we had to increase our memory to 4 GB and this was done by simply identifying our computers on Crucial's website, which automatically identified the correct memory chips needed. We ordered and we are up and running.
I was advised to add some memory after networking an older dell 4600 to my new dell xps 9000. I did that and I am noticing an increase in speed... but.. what I was particularly impressed with was the TECH support people that I talked with at CRUCIAL were polite, patient, and accurate.
Being the alpha-geek of the family, it's my duty to keep everyone's computers working when they ask for my help. Noticing my mom's desktop was agonizingly slow, I took a look at the RAM situation. I was astonished to see there was only 512MB available. I was thinking maybe a chip had died. It didn't matter, I immediately went to Crucial.com, found the appropriate type of RAM I needed and ordered the maximum amount that would fit in my mom's PC. A few days later, the RAM arrived, it was installed and my mom's computer has now picked up its pep.
