Great little battery

Lon G. March 17, 2013

I use these batteries for my Ember 2, Night Vapor, and mSR almost daily! Great little battery! I charge at 1C when I have the time and 1.5-2C when I'm rushed. Most of the time I charge them in a 4-battery adapter on my Dynamite Passport Ultra Duo. Can't go wrong with these little gems!

Great little battery!

Bobex March 5, 2019

These are a perfect addition to any of you UMX aircraft. If I could add anything, it would be that when I bought my first UMX aircraft this battery was on backorder. I didn't realize that we could use the 45C. In hindsight, for about the same amount of money, and if it were more available I'd just order the 45C. HH needs to work a little on the website logic of offering usable / upgradeable components.

Battery is good, but missing something

Major J. February 19, 2017

The batteries I bought for my MCX2 work fine, but they are a wee bit longer than the one that came with the unit, and they did not come with the rubber band type thing you put on them to keep them from sliding in too far when installing them on the helicopter. As a result, it is easy to get them slid in too far, and then this distorts things and causes the servo arms to not be free to travel. The batteries should come with the slide on rubber band to prevent sliding it in too far. If anyone at Horizon Hobby is reading this, I would welcome them sending me the little slip on rubber band gizmos.

Came with my Spitfire

Canewalker July 15, 2013

I hope the quality of Eflite batteries have come up in the past 5 years. I paid $12.99 for an extra Eflite 3.7v 150 mah 12C battery when I bought my first micro T-28 at my LHS five or six years ago and it lasted for 11 recharges before dying. I was using the 'AA' powered Eflite charger supplied with the airplane to recharge the batteries. Since then I've bought the 4 port AC powered Celetra recharger. One of the best buy's I've ever made as concerns flying ultra micros that use 3.7v batteries. I have a BUNCH of Turnigy 3.7v 160 mah 25-40C batteries but they're a bit thicker than this battery and I can't reliably put my battery cover back on my Spitfire. This Eflite battery is exactly the right size for the magnets to hold the battery cover on. Besides that, it has more power than that first "$13" battery I bought at the retail store. One of these batteries came with my AS3X ultra micro Spitfire and after 8 flights, so far, it's doing great. I've got a sneaking suspicion Eflite went back to the drawing board and got it right this time. Knock on wood.

150mAh 1S 25C Lipo Battery

Averacpa February 8, 2012

The battery for the money is a great value. I have 6 of them and use them on my mSRx. I first started to get a little over 6 minutes of flight time, although I actually set the timer for 5 minutes; just wanted to see how long the battery actually lasts. I would use them once every day. They are charged in parallel using the iCharger 106B at 1.8 Amps setting which is a 2C charge rate. After the third week I noticed that the flight times are starting to drop to about 4.5 - 5 minutes. As I said, I normally set my flight timer to 5 minutes and had the helicopter shut down when the time was nearing the 5 minute mark. No sure if the battery are no longer holding the charge as well as when they were new. I may have 15-20 uses on each of them. I am still learning how to fly the mSRx indoors and don't do much other then hover, slow turns, and landings/takeoffs. Overall I think they are a good value for the $3.99 I paid. I am hoping to get at least two months of daily use before replacement. I will have to wait and see.

Each one died

Kg7 U. September 27, 2017

I bought an Inductrix and along with it came this battery. The battery quit within a week. I called Horizon Hobby and then sent me three new ones (Horizon Hobby's tech support is outstanding and very generous). Every single one of those went bad within a month. So I bought two Hyperion 200mAh 50C batteries and have been having good times flying since.

Don't Last

Matthew G. February 19, 2021

Bought as a replacement for Nano S2. Between 6 batteries, I got about 12 hours of flight. That comes out to about 40 3 min flights per battery. The batteries no longer hold a charge However the original battery still works ( I took the sticker off when I bough the new batteries because I thought it would go bad first, I had that battery for 2 years now .) Disappointing :(
