E-flite Power 15 Brushless Outrunner Motor 950Kv EFLM4015A Electric Brushless Motors Air

I also bought this motor to replace my stock Apprentice motor, I thas plenty of power and I am still using the factory speed control that comes in the Apprentice, which I thoght was only a 30 amp speed control. Anyway great motor, What about this motor on the T-28, I believe the mounting holes are the same. Thanks FireBob

I had an old Hobbyzone Super Cub sitting on a shelf for about 10 years. Decided to get a little silly with it recently. Put this motor in it with a 40amp Eflite ESC , 3s lipo and an 11x8 prop. FAR more power than a Super Cub needs in this size range. Unlimited vertical. Just ordered a 1300mah 4S lipo for it....because overkill is underrated.

I picked up the Pitts 15E with power 25 and while it was a fast sport setup I wanted more 3D capabilities out the bi-plane. So I went from power 25 motor with11x8 prop to power 15 and 12x6 prop and wow the Pitts is fantastic with the larger prop and recommend 3D motor with plenty of thrust for harriers and hovering. Sports flying and 3D flying do not mix. One setup makes it a bad in the other style of flying. If one is going to fly sport use the sport setup and if you are going to enjoy 3D to max go with the 3D setup. Recommendation on Horizon hobby site are right on and can be trusted. I have Power 480, .10, .15, 25. 32 and 60 and they all perform excellent. These motors are tough because I have had crashes with all of them and they are still running rock solid. I have hit sign post and the pavement so hard I have bent the motor shaft on the 480 (2x) and the power 25, installed new shafts and the motors are rock solid. Plenty of torque power and speed with 3S - 4S power sources within specification of the motor and ESC.

I replaced my stock apprentice motor with the power 15 and 40amp pro switch mode esc great combination for the apprentice. I used the stock prop adapter and the prop from the apprentice running stock apprentice batteries. Slightly more power than stock and this motor is much smoother and quieter I only have two flights on it so far so I can not vouch for reliability but I can say that the quality of materials used is much better than the stock motor and it runs much smoother and quieter.

It is extremely thoughtful of Horizon to provide a drop in replacement for the low quality motors that come in the Parkzone aircraft. Without the Power motors, I would have changed to another aircraft product line. The Eflite product line is still overpriced but remains the best choice due to the matching sizes and mounting.

no more cheap motors this size.ive had the 15 for 2 years.bird of time,acromaster andtwo other gliders.abused it?yup but only thing ive had to do is put a couple of shafts in it.still has the power it ever had.i dont think you can beat these motors and the service at horizon is great.the service program horizon has says it all.ive gotten straight helpfull answers on my 9303,my fg 20 and several other tec. questions.were you going to get that with cheap stuff.!!!

I bought the Power 15 because I needed a replacement motor for my Apprentice airplane. Just by looking at it you can see the quality in manufacture. I use the e-flite 60amp ESC ($85) and the motor runs like a champ. The motor has lots of power, more than i need. More powerful than the stock Apprentice motor and looks like it might last longer.

this was the perfect upgrade to the apprentice sts 1.5 stock motor. glad I listened to other reviews. smoother, quieter, more powerful. so much better in every way. the only thing to know is, the bullet connectors were extremely hard to connect. I had to gently compress the cage slightly a few times with pliers to get them to insert by hand. they are nice and tight.

I installed this motor into the Allusive 2.2 meter electric sailplane as recommended in the assembly manual and its been running flawlessly with about 75-100 flights so far. Running with the 3s 2200ma LiPo packs and the recommended ESC for the plane and motor. I think the performance is great, with near vertical take-offs. With some momentum entering a straight up maneuver, 2 complete rolls can be done before the plane slows, at about 200 feet or more altitude, very nice considering the size and weight of the model.

I put this motor in my Multiplex FunCub with a 55 amp ESC and 13 x 6.5 prop and a VOX 14 x 7. It has plenty of thrust with unlimited vertical. My friends have since started running this same setup in their FunCubs and love it also. This is a Great motor for many applications in its class. I would buy it again.
