Disappointed with the Size and Quality
I've used Eagle Claw Aberdeen hooks for years, but I was disappointed with this purchase. The sizing doesn't seem to be consistent anymore. The size 2 hooks I used to buy seem comparable to what used to be a size 1 or even 1/0. It feels like the hooks keep getting smaller even though the size number has changed very little. Quality control was also an issue. I ordered two packs, and several hooks were broken right out of the package. A few others had such small or poorly formed eyelets that it was difficult—or nearly impossible—to thread fishing line through them. I've always trusted Eagle Claw products, but these hooks didn't meet my expectations. I hope the company improves both the consistency of their sizing and their quality control.
