[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product! This absolutely transformed our garage floor. It was easy to prepare and install. It has also held up incredibly well so far. There have not been any chips, or scratches. It is also easy to clean.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this product. However the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. The preparation of the floor I'd probably the hardest part. With the right tools prep work is easier. If you have the knowledge to do some DIY stuff this is a great product to spruce up that garage space. Application process was extremely easy although time consuming to make sure it's done right.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been talking about painting/sealing out garage floor for a couple years now so when we saw this Rocksolid Metallic Floor Coating - Gunmetal, 70 Oz. Kit, we decided to finally do it! Very simple to use - everything comes right in the box. I would say the key to a beautiful, smooth look is to prep your garage floor well - don't skimp on this. Vacuum, wash and use the prep cleaner first. We also filled in a few cracks with cement in a tube. Let everything DRY and then proceed. The actual mixing and application of this floor coating is very simple. Just knead the package, pop the middle divider (by rolling the bag like a tube of toothpaste and make sure it's blended. Pour it on the floor in sections and smooth out and then make circular patterns with the roller to get a nice marbleized design in the floor. My wife used a brush and did around the edges and I did the rest. Our 2 car garage took about an hour to do. Two suggestions: work in small 5x5 sections and keep going in the same direction and get more than they say you'll need I didn't get as much coverage from each box and had to run out mid job to grab 2 more boxes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough good about this product. It was easy to use and provided a wonderful finish. I coated a concrete bathroom floor, and was very careful to follow all recommendations on surface prep. The included instructions and available videos, make application a breeze. As far as mixing the product Rock Solid has made that as simple as can be. My wife and I laughed, because we literally caught ourselves watching paint dry. As the product cured, we went from doubt to an amazing floor. Love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is amazing to make your concrete floor go from blah to beautiful! Recently moved into a new house and knew we wanted to do the floors with epoxy or something and this kit was super easy. Makes keeping the floor clean easier. I just rinse out water gets sprayed with a hose and let it dry. Right back to beautiful floors. This kit is very easy to use, very clear concise directions and the outcome is awesome! We loved the look so much we purchased more kits to do the other concrete floors in our garage and basement storage areas.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing I must say is this is not your grandfather's epoxy garage floor coating. if you like that flakey look this product is not your look. also it's not a true epoxy, it's a hard urethane. There's a super cool swirl pattern that you gain while using the roller with this product. it was easy to apply and is holding up nicely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rust-oleum epoxy is friendly diy product. I was able to produce beautiful marble looking floors in my garage. I did not used the grip additives nor the included rollers. I was worried about lint so I brought high quality foam rollers but first spread the epoxy with a squeegee. I also use rust-oleum rocksolid clear to help with longevity.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The last time I did floor coating in the garage was over 10 years ago so the floor starts cracking now. Thankfully I found out this RockSolid Floor Coating kit. It's super easy to use. The kit includes part A & B solution, concrete etch and a roller. The instruction is quite simple and easy to follow as I already done similar job before. The solution dries out quick, approximately 10 hours but I left it more than 48 hours to make sure everything is settled. I'm super happy with the final result because the floor looks so nice and shiny. I definitely will buy this kit again for the next project.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our first DIY project in our new home and we are extremely happy with how easy the whole process was to understand and apply. My garage floor came out beautifully and all my neighbors have been complimenting us. From start to finish you should expect to set aside a few days because there is some prep work that should be done to ensure you get the best results possible. The prep and application of the product itself only took a few hours though followed by a day for drying. Weather temperature should also be taken into consideration on application day. I would recommend you pour and work in smaller sections as we found this easier than the recommend instructions. We also feel each kit does not come close to covering up to 125 Sq ft as stated so take that into consideration as well. I'd recommend having more on hand so you can finish the project all at once. We really liked that we were able to personalize the pattern to our liking and the way the floor looks and shines is absolutely phenomenal. It's also very easy to clean any messes off. We are excited to try some of their other DIY home products now that we know how easy they are to apply and like I said before, the results are stunning.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Paint went on good with roller. You will need to prep concrete as instructed. Takes 2 or 3 coats to look good. For me it was 3 coats. Looks great as i did my garage floor. Has not been long enough to see how long it holds up for the floor but after 3 weeks it still looks great. I also used a clear top coat to. Just 1 coat of this.
