Earth hugger mailing envelopes are great for mailing books, important papers, anything that is flat and doesn't take up a lot of space or isn't very thick. I used mine to mail some books to my nieces and nephews. I like that these are made to where I can recycle them. They have a bit of a pad on one side so they protect things that you would want to mail. Overall I think these are perfect mailers and good for a lot of mailing options.

These mailers are definitely a bargin. Purchasing these at the post office/fed ex can be quite exspensive. The mailers are basically thick brown paper bags. I like that the envelope is made of a thick cardboard paper and lined with bubble wrap.  They are self-sticking with a strip so you don't have to lick them, you just pull off the strip. I sue these the mail coloring book abd crayons to my grandkids. I have also mails photos, cds, cosmetics, and jewelry holding up perfectly. They are also recyclable which is nice. There is plenty of space for writing the address and return address. I highly recommend!!

These are fantastic. I ship a lot of jewelry from my online shop and this padded envelope is the perfect size. A ring box (or 2 or 3 or more) fit in here with enough room that I don't have to worry about the box corners causing tears. The padding is more than sufficient. I love these and am going to make the switch from my smaller other name brand envelope to this!!

Overall, this is a good eco mailer. It has some cushion but I wouldn't ship anything too delicate in it. They are slightly larger than I expected and that works in my favor. They are very lightweight which saves a little on postage. It is self sealing which is great but i always use tape too because i have had past products from other manufacturers fail on me. I really like the lines for ship to and ship from info. 

I used these to ship small items like jewelry and they work great for that purpose. They are pretty thick and sturdy, so I think they will stay intact in transit. I like that I don't have to tape over the flap to ensure it's closed. The adhesive is strong enough alone that the flap stays closed.

These are thinner than I'm used to. They say you can ship perfume bottles, but I wouldn't put anything like that in these. I put a small glass essentials oil spray bottle in it and casually tossed it around like the mail would do. The first couple of times I didn't hear anything. But the third time, I did hear the glass. Which makes me concerned about mailing glass. The seal seems to be good. The whole packaging is recyclable, which is a bonus, I do wish they were a little thicker.

These envelopes are a good size for smaller items. They are recyclable, so that's really good. The lining is paper, and it provides fair protection, but not quite as much as a bubble mailer because the lining is pretty thin. It's pretty lightweight, too, so will not add a ton to shipping costs.

The Earth Hugger envelope is thinly padded. It has a self sealing strip tab. In addition, if self-addressing, the Earth Hugger envelope has lines for the ship to & return addresses, which is helpful. If it matters to you this is made in the United States of America. The envelope does not have the typical plastic bubble padding for cushioning; the Earth Hugger envelope uses a paper netting for padding. I did not ship any delicate or collectible items in it, as a shipping envelope does not have the same protection as a box; however, the Earth Hugger shipping envelope is a less expensive alternate shipping method for a large variety of items. Plus, shipping envelopes are typically less costly to send with any shipping carrier.
