We have been using a gas walk behind weed mower for over 20 years. This machine is easy to push %26 it tackles the thick weeds as good as the gas version.

relax your back with this powerful battery trimmer

Brisco March 25, 2026

Was skeptical of battery power, but I needed something easier on my old busted-up back. I am in my mid-fifties with 5 acres and my gas powered trimmer is getting heavier each year! This thing totally gets the job done and is a blessing for my back pain issues. It is extremely powerful even in the thickest 3–4 foot clumps of Deer Grass here in Sacramento County. Mine came with 2 batteries. A single full battery goes for about 40 minutes at full blast. I imagine it runs longer on a lower setting, of which there are 3 (low, medium, high). It is lightweight, easy to maneuver even in and out of ditches. I am getting loads of use out of it. I cannot speak to it's longevity yet, as I've only owned it for about a month. But so far I truly luv this tool.

Game changer

P. Desenex March 13, 2026

I've only used this machine a few times but I'm very impressed. It is quiet enough that no ear plugs are necessary, which is a huge improvement over my gas model. I've mowed some pretty thick grass easily. It was easy to assemble right out of the box. Also-- no stinking gasoline ! No messy oil. If I had any quibble it would be with the running time. It's advertised as getting up to 45 minutes per charge and I am getting around 30 at speed level 2 of 3. I will probably never want to mow more than 30 minutes anyway so no big deal. I'd like to thank Earthquake for making such a fine machine .

A Beast!

Wildfortune July 8, 2026

After being abandoned by DR Products over their battery recall, I was left without a string walk-behind mower. Using an LLM AI to find a replacement mower, Earthquake was at the top. At first, I had my doubts when it arrived because it looked smaller with a direct drive. My first test was clearing around 2 small barns, one of which had been neglected all Spring and was tough to clear. Quite frankly, I was shocked at the power and lack of clogging. I followed on with some fenceline clearing and got the battery a little too warm. But it comes with two, so you can keep going. Since then, I've been using it everywhere for normal touchup, and it's perfect. I love the cutting height adjustment setup. Trimming under the polytape electric fence around my garden below is no longer as scary as my DR. I've been using both the heavy and light cutting lines that come with it, and they are good. Place a damp sponge in the container to keep the strings hydrated and extend their lifespan. I'm sold! Very happy with my new Earthquake.

Great for the ladies!!

Anonymous April 6, 2026

I had tall mountain grass & this string mower was perfect for the job!! I'm a petite woman, who could easily push the light weight mower, change the string & change out the battery.

Great machine!

DebG August 7, 2025

I bought this because I could not pull the cord on gas trimmer. This thing is amazing! It works flawlessly, has a ton of power, is easy on the string and a snap to change the size or position of string. Cuts through tough weeds like butter and cut grasses without chewing up the ground. I should have bought it years ago!!!

Easy to replace string even with "old lady" hands

hollis June 25, 2025

I LOVE my 60V string trimmer!! It lets me do small mowing jobs, edging and brush removal without overusing my shoulders. The string is extremely easy to replace which is a big deal when your old hands have some arthritis and strength issues. Highly recommended.

First electrical push string mower

Dan117 June 4, 2026

So this thing how power , easy to cut right threw black berry and heavy thick brush. Can fully built and 0 maintenance which is nice. Batteries are nice but beware they get hot and you cant charge then till they cool which can take a hour. So big jobs need more then two batteries.
