I am very pleased with the quality and value of this Rototiller. It wasn't too difficult to put together. start easy and does an excellent job on my garden. A little more work on fresh untilled ground, but that's to be expected. Would definitely recommend

I've been gardening for about 40 yrs and I'd have to say this is the best tiller I've ever used that being said I'm and was able to do my 20x40 plot by myself

They need to do a much better job on the shipment packing box. A few pieces of foam would eliminate all damage during shipping. The tines go right through the bottom of the box. The machine is excellent. Well made and the viper engine is incredibly easy to start. Would recommend. I wish they told you how much oil to put in the machine. Instead they say fill it up until it meets the dipstick line. Kind of a hassle but not a big deal.

Machine wants to work,the tines spin very fast so when breaking sod or weedy areas it bounces alot. Once the soil is looser , it digs right in and works awesome. Only used it several times but so far it's great

Just finished assembling and tested. WOW!! The power of the tilling is tremendous compared to my 30-yr old MTD. You have to be at least a little bit mechanical to assemble - not intuitive, and nuts and bolts have to be put in somewhat difficult places. Not everything was covered by the directions, and the flip up/down wheels are confusing at first. My machine was new, never run, but it had been sent to and returned by a previous buyer, so the packaging was pretty sad. The small container of oil they include had been punctured so some of the oil had leaked out into the inner box. The belt assembly cover was not mentioned at all in the instructions so that added some confusion for my limited mechanical prowess. All that said, the power compared to what I was used to is positively awesome!

I found the directions confusing in regards to the depth gage item for dirt depth. They show the angled part facing both forward and backwards. Other than that all went smooth. As for the use, I have hard pan dirt and even though my ground was watered down 3 times the days before it was still hard in the area I was tilling. About 20 square feet. All went well tilling the area, it just took longer than average. Started on the third pull and That is good enough for me. My question to the higher ups is why not put in who would repair or service these? Hopefully the service is local for those who purchase these and live in fairly large cities like I do. I did not take any pic of the unit. Cost for tiller was reasonable.

I am very happy with this Badger tiller. It has plenty of digging power and provides enough for all of my needs. The best part to me is that when the rear wheels are folded in, the floor footprint is relatively small compared to other tiller with this power size. And if you remove the outer tiller tines, the footprint is even smaller. The only downside I have is that i wish it did has a throttle adjustment (rpm).

I have only test run the machine since purchase, but it starts easily, runs and tills well. Seems well built and powerful. the real test will come in the spring

I had a lot of crabgrass growing in my backyard. I was tired of picking it by hand so I bought this rototiller and it handled my entire backyard and busted through fresh grass until the dirt a good four to five inches deep... obviously not the Ideal tool for the job but nevertheless it handled it and it's still going strong I had to adjust the belt tension or quite a bit but after I figured out how to do all that I got very comfortable with the tiller. I would definitely recommend it.

The belt will not stay tight, used twice and a new gas line needed to be replaced. The tines will not stay on
