This tiller, big as it is, is quite easy to use and the reverse feature is awesome. It starts very easily.
The tiller arrived on the date that was promised. Delivery driver was very friendly and was very helpful with the loading and unloading. Checked the adjustments as outlined in the owner's manual, put oil and gas in the reservoirs and checked all of the starting procedures. Everything was already ready to go. It started on the first full and tilled some hard soil done in only a few passes over the ground. So far, so good.
I like this tiller, it has the hp that I need to turn my yard and garden over. I plan on replaneting my yard this year and a great garden too. This tiller is very easy to use and I am a 77 year old handicap person and I dont have a problem using it.
I recently purchased the Earthquake® 33970 Victory™ Rear Tine Tiller, Powerful 212cc 4-Cycle Viper™ Engine. I can honestly say this was my first time ever owning one. I'm a 50 year old woman who mainly operates this machine and it's very manageable. I'm very happy it has the reverse option as I needed to dig myself out of a few corners. It starts beautifully, and runs awesome! It does a very good job too. I do feel like I've had a mini workout at the end as it can be a little difficult to keep straight at times. But other than that I'm very happy with my purchase.
I bought this to replace an old Troy Bilt tiller. I was not sure how I would like it, but for the most part I am happy with it. It is very different to till with the reverse rotating tines, nice because the tiller never "jumps" forward, but the dirt tends to pile out the sides of tiller a bit more. Overall, I am happy with this tiller.
Tiller is a beast. However forward cable snapped after 2 hours of use. It snapped right at the 90 degree bend where it connects to the belt pulley assembly. It is a great machine but the cable is a poor design. All the stress is going to hit that 90 so I'm guessing I'm going to replace the cable a lot. Not too difficult but wish it had a better connector design.
This tiller has worked very well for me. The only downside is the air cleaner cover was broken when I purchased it. I didn't notice it until I got home with the machine. I've got it wired on but it would be nice to have a new cover. Thanks for your consideration.
This tiller was good for working on fresh ground. It says that it handles rocks well and it does up to certain sizes. I few that were about 4-5 inch wide dented and bent a lot of the metal covering. Also I start and stop wiring was installed very close to the tires and during operation the tire ripped out the wire and not have to contact the wire to the terminal to shut off the device. Overall it's a good machine but fixing a few things would make it a great machine
I didn't know what to expect when I bought this tiller, but it's so difficult to control because it's not self-propelled. If I could afford a self-propelled tiller, I would buy one. This is the only option I could afford. It worked well. I would recommend this tiller to a strong friend.
It was not the model I ordered and was damaged. They offered 10% rebate which was ridiculous because that was less then the difference in vost between the two models and didn't even mention the damage. They have been slow in responding so I can figure out what to do and we need to have a tiller for our garden. I can't in good conscience recommend this product or company.
