Having back issues I have been looking for a sturdy and easy to use grabber. I bought this one and it is amazing! Easy to assemble and great to use. I would recomend this!

Second one I have purchased. Saves your back and picks up yard waste great. Buy one or two like I did.

I have a fused low back and experience significant pain when bending over repeatedly. The Gator Grabber helps me keep working and avoid pain. The handles are made of metal and are very sturdy. The "paddles" for grabbing are super hard plastic that are super sturdy and help keep the weight of the tool manageable. The handles do extend out using the twist kind of telescoping, not the pop-out button kind. The only slight problem I've had with the Gator Grabber is one of the handles doesn't always stay in place when using the telescoping function, but the tool is still fully functional even when the handle doesn't stay telescoped out. This is a very minor inconvenience when compared to all the tool's benefits and not a deal-breaker for me. I definitely recommend this tool to work smarter not harder.
