I'd give it 10 stars if I could! Wow! Hold on tight! This baby packs a punch like you can't even imagine! We wanted to start a garden but the soil had not been tended in 35+ years. Hard soil, overgrown tree roots, pine needles... This little machine works GREAT! It took maybe an hour to till up what we imagined to be a nightmare! Cut through the roots and rocks like butter. No damage. Didn't even startle the little guy! I'd highly recommend...for the price this is WELL worth it! I can't sing it's praises enough. It's sturdy. Easy to put together. *Read the instructions* You have to hold the electric start button down and then depress the handle. A+++++!!!!

I had to review this because I'm impressed! I have a large yard and needed to till it all up to put new seed. I have pretty hard dirt and also found lots of rocks. This thing handled it all like a champ! My mom has a gas one and said she was very impressed by this as well. And the price was right...cheaper than renting one.

Its pretty tough for being small.. My 4yr old was able to help assemble it. I'm a beginner and the small section I've done was pretty easy to work. My hands were a bit fragile after the bumping and vibrating but it goes away. Overall I like it.

We were excited to try our new tiller and it performed as we hoped it would. For the price it did very well. We wish we had purchased it earlier.

It works great in our clay soil. My plan is to use this for weeding between the rows in my garden.

Assembly was easy. Starting the motor is easy. The picture shows the handle at a comfortable angle, but when the tines are doing their work in the ground, I had to hold the handle nearly vertically. This made it harder to pull the tiller. To do so, I had to hold the sides of the handle while still holding the bar back. It did a great job mixing the mulch into my damp, loamy soil.

It works well in areas that have already been tilled

I got one hour of use before it rendered itself useless, going back to Walmart tomorrow.
