It went on smooth and did a great job. It would take 4 cans to do a 4 door, long bed full size truck. I was coatng all the components that was or could rust.
I bought Internal Frame Coating Plus with nozzle and did my internal frame on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ. What a great product and easy to use with no problems and the frame inside turned out nice. I would highly recommend this product for doing internal frames. Also tape up all holes that is not used for access for spraying in which I forgot one on the bottom of the frame and coating ran out
Can't know for sure how it covered since it's inside the frame but seemed to have a good 360 spray. 2 cans did an 11' jeep frame, one can down each rail.
Yes, finally got to use my four cans of the internal frame coating plus on my vehicle! I also hand the 24” special nozzles too! The weather here was just too hot to do this for the last few months! Yesterday the weather was great, and very decent for the next few days. But today, I used my four cans to coat my 2021 Nissan Frontier frame to the best of my ability! My biggest issue were the 24” spray tubes that wanted to come off while spraying! You really need a more aggressive tube system that is held tightly to the can. Maybe a trigger style would work. Work was completed in a few short hours.
Did a Jeep Tj frame with 2 large cans. It's a lot thinner than I thought it would be. Did a real nice job. The only problem is that it's sloppy to work with and both nozzles clogged twords the bottom of the cans. I would definitely use it again.
I used this product in a jeep TJ. They are notorious for internal frame rust. After lots of prep and cleaning, I used this a couple of cans per side. After several years it still appears to be holding up fine. I check it occasionally by running my fingers in the frame. It still feels very smooth. Wish I knew about this product earlier.
I had this product for a while so that may have impacted my review. The problem I had was keeping the hose straight when pushed up into the frame. I tried sliding some gas line over the hose and that helped but the end still wanted to curl around. I don't think I got complete coverage in some areas. I may try another can, we will see.
I've used several cans on this project. Expect to get 1 bad can out of every 5 or 6. I've shot 4-5 cans through 1 nozzle/tube, and the next can will plug 4-5 nozzles/tubes. That's ok if you have spare nozzles. but you're out of luck if you don't. Hopefully this stuff will last.
Bought 2 cans of internal frame coating. 1st can clogged up about halfway through it. I took the cap with hose off to see if i could unclog it. I didn't realize it would be under alot of pressure. When i took the cap off the coating blew out the top of the can all over me and the side of my jeep. To say i was not happy would be an understatement. Couldn't get unclogged so switched to the second can i purchased no issue with that can or that hose. Hope this stuff works like it is advertised as Now have spots on paint, floor, boots, pants and safety glasses.
I had nothing but problems with this stuff. I was using the long tube on the nozzle and it would occasionally spray out from the nozzle making a big mess. If you paused for more than a minute, the tube would clog up and the spray would either stop or leak out the nozzle. I have several large 1-1/2” dia access holes in my frame. I taped them over and used the spray. When I took the tape off, there was no spray on the inside of any of them beside what looked like a tiny bit of overstay. Also, out of three cans, I didn't get to completely empty any of them because the cans would stop spraying. I assume they were getting plugged. Bottom line, I would not buy this product again.
