Easy Mote Universal TV Remote DT-RO8WC

Perfect little remote for my elderly father. I was looking for something simple that would be easy to use and not confusing for the old fellow. He doesn't use any streaming services, so this worked well. It took a little while to get paired with his older tv, but the process was easy. I especially liked the light up feature, so when he was using it at night, he was still able to see the buttons. I also liked the wristlet attached. I added a lanyard and attached it to a bed rail, so he couldn't drop it on the floor. No, the only problem is, he sometimes confuses the remote with the 'nurse' call button he has. It is exactly as pictured. Nice large buttons for ease of use. Channel up and down, volume up and down, power on/off, and mute. Now if you have cable with a larger amount of channels available to you, it might be a little annoying, not being able to dial in to the direct channel... you do have to flip through all the channels to get to the one you want, but for someone, like my father, who just uses an antenna with less than 30 channel options, it's not too bad.

We've only had this for a brief time but so far its been an absolute lifesaver for a family member who has suffered from a stroke. Small buttons and even telephone buttons are a struggle right now but this remote is perfect. I hated to see our family member frustrated when the TV was there only real form of enjoyable entertainment. Now he can operate the TV on his own. I will also add, it paired easily to his fairly new smart TV.

Neat little gadget. Once I got the h ang of it, programmiong went well. It does just what we need for my brother-inlaw when he comes over.

Easy to program. This is perfect for Elderly Dad in the nursing home.

This was recommended to me by a nurse in a nursing home . Patients in the dementia hall have it . My husband has arthritis severely in his hands. It's perfect! Less stress and frustration. Big buttons, less buttons.

Does exactly what I want, flat, stable package, big MUTE button so I can silence commercials! The only minus is the button backlighting which will shorten battery life.

Even though it said it was an international remote it did not work with my LG/Internet TV so I am returning it to the store for a store credit or refund.
