Bought this help keep calcium deposits to a minimum. So far It looks like it is doing its job.

The concrete skirt around the base fountain is weak. Stress on shirt resulted in it disintegrating. If you tip the fountain which is necessary for maintenance, the skirt is prone to breaking. Also, the water line tends to get debris in it which results in an uneven spray from time to time.

This was a waste of money. I used this when I set up my fountain, even adding a little more than instructions called for. A week later, my water was disgusting and my pump all slimy. I went back to using a tiny amount of granular chlorine and water has been crystal clear.
