the only thing that i dont like, which is the same with all machines is the cuff. putting it on by yourself and getting it aligned is a challenge 💪. but overall its been accurate and love the app it connects too!
It works. Simple. Straight out of the box. It includes batteries, but I used the included cable to plug it into a charger and it took my pressure just fine. Installing the batteries is easy. It's easy to switch between the two people you can keep separated. It's easy to navigate the history. I didn't try bluetooth, but there's a code to scan to get the app. This one works like a couple of other home machines I've had - if it can't get the initial pressure up to 20, it fails. If you're having trouble with that, bend your arm a bit to get the pressure up, then slowly relax as it continues to pump and it'll be perfectly fine. This is an excellent machine for half the price of a lot of others.
Very satisfied with Blood Pressure Unit. I took it to my Physical Therapy appointment and they tested it and said it was accurate.
When I purchased this, I was surprised that it came with an app that records all readings so I don't have to write them down anymore.
works good hooks to my phone to store readings to show the doctor
I was shocked at how user friendly this device is. Clear instructions with pictures, digital large print read that is also color coded, lightweight and easy to transport. Gave results in less then a minute. Excellent design. Aside from date and time, it's a two step process to get it operational. Put the batteries in and plug in the cuff tube. Date and time setup only use two buttons. This is fabulous. I couldn't be happier.
light, compact, accurate
The old saying, "You get what you pay for". I purchased the unit and it appeared simple to setup. Read the instruction manual and installed the batteries that came with the unit. Downloaded the App and it appears the manufacturer makes several other biometric devices. The unit had a hard time connecting the App via Bluetooth with my iPhone, but after 40 seconds it would link. Used the unit and got various readings in a single sitting within 2 minute timeframe. The top number (systolic) varied from each other by 15 to 30 points. The bottom number (diastolic) was varied also within 12 to 20 points. Changed batteries with new Energizers and took the unit out to Walmart blood pressure station and the variance between the two was top 18, bottom 21 after 4 readings without getting up from the chair. Went to CVS and the 4 readings were off also. The top varied 11 to 24 points and bottom numbers were varied from 14 to 19 points. Took the unit to my doctor's office at Sanford Center Bemidji and asked for a set of readings. Sat in the chair for 15 minutes relaxing, then took my reading with purchased unit and read: 1. 142/91, removed cuff and nurse took reading and it was 151/83, 2. 152/83, removed cuff and nurse took reading and it was 146/76, 3. 137/71, removed cuff and nurse took reading and it was 141/74, 4. 116/68, removed cuff and nurse took reading and it was 139/77, Readings are enough to allow critical issues of high blood pressure to be ignored due to inaccurate data.
Worked well for a week then started to give error message when using. I don't think it's accurate.
The monitor cost more than what it is worth. There's nothing special about it. In the description it said it would tell the user if the cuff was put on incorrectly, I really don't see that so far. The monitor is very plain, no special features. At first it was hard to figure out how to program it.
