I have used this device on muscles in my lower back, shoulder and calves with great success. I have obtained relief from the cramping or tightening of the muscle group. I would recommend this small handheld device to anyone that experiences muscle tightness of cramping not do to lack of hydration.
The unit is small, thin, lightweight, and easily fits in a pocket. It has a bright blue screen while navigating to different modes. For such a small size, it packs a punch. I've rarely gone past the halfway point on intensity. I've used it continuously for 24 hours at one point, and it showed it still had plenty of charge left to possibly go another 24. It's great at numbing my hip and sciatica pain and allowed me to move about normally. I even wear it (inconspicuously) while shopping. There are plenty of different modes and 4 separate paddles, but just two were sufficient for my needs. The only con I can think of is that the paddles can sometimes fall off... but that's easily remedied by a quick wash %26 rinse of the sticky side of the paddle while also making sure your skin is clean and dry (rubbing alcohol works well). Medical tape, or a large bandage, could also be used to secure the paddles in place, but it wasn't necessary in my case. It's also been dropped (accidentally) a few times on hard surfaces, and it's worked fine with no damage. Cool little unit. We've only had it about a week, and so far, it's been awesome. We're thinking about buying another bc I've been hogging this one... lol.
My husband is pretty sore and knotted up in his shoulder and neck area, he also always has lower back pain. He uses this nightly, I do believe it is working for his shoulder/neck area his lower back it helps slightly. He is also under Chiropractic care right now so the combination of things he is doing is helping, he's complaining less and less. He is a semi driver, so that explains all of his ailments. This device is pretty powerful when turned up, my husband looks like a puppet when it is on a higher setting his shoulders go up and down without him doing anything, the device is doing all of the work, tiring out the tight muscles. This tens unit may be small to hold in your hand but make no mistake it is powerful, when you turn it up, however there are so many different sessions-settings to choose from, he uses a lot of them to see what works for each area that gives him grief. I definitely would recommend this tens unit. Also I came charged over a week ago and he uses it a lot and we have yet to use the cord to recharge it, that is a bonus.
I like that it is easy to handle, maneuver. It has many settings for what you may need or want to try. we've used it for multiple body parts, there's three of us in the family, and we've all had a need for it. The battery lasts I think a good long while.
i bought this for my husband to use on his back and shoulder. He has told his workout buddies about it. Now they bought one
Powerful little device that holds a charge a long time. Really causes muscles to contract. Not sure if it will promote new muscle growth after atrophy caused by cervical stenosis, but we'll see.
this is a great back saver. I was in a car accident several year ago and fractured a bone in my back. Before I was popping pain relief pills like candy on rainy days. This worked like magic and no need to medicate after.
it really works good I would recommend this to anyone
I would like to know how to return this
It did not work at all. I meed to return it.
