Good value batteries

MrT May 31, 2025

I like these batteries because they last for a while, and they work well. I like that you can recharge these batteries multiple times worth every penny spent.

Great batteries

TallBoy July 17, 2024

A bit pricey up front, but well worth it in the long run compared to how ridiculously expensive one time use batteries have gotten. EBL rechargeables have been doing very well for all my needs. AA %26 AAA's.

I bought these with the EBL battery charger, for use primarily with cycle lights. Whilst I have some fairly decent Duracell rechargeable AAA batteries, they were quite expensive and I needed additional AAAs for the four cycle lights we have that use three each. At a tenner for eight batteries these represent excellent value for money. Capacity wise at 1100mAh they are very decent, way ahead of the typical 500-800mAh of most of the cheaper versions on the market. I've tested them in a couple of the lights, and they seem to last as long as the Duracell versions which are significantly more expensive. At this price, they are a bargain, and come with useful storage boxes too.

The good: fast delivery and super power. I have a CREE flashlight which uses 4 AAA. It runs through the new Energizer or Duracell batteries quite fast. These ones are so powerful, they even made my flashlight emmit a humming noise due to the overload. Absolutely a must have. The bad: none.

This is my second batch of these batteries. I have previously purchased some for work for a Brother labeller. These labellers usually eat battery power, but these ones last so long. I have now purchased some for myself. They arrive in handy plastic containers for safely storing the batteries. Very pleased.

I received these promptly, and was pleasantly surprised that they came in two snap together modular cases, each holding 4 batteries. It is advertised in the item description, but I hadn't really looked over that. I tested the voltage on arrival with a multimeter, and all betteries came in a bit above advertised voltage, around 1.28v + or - 0.05v. No complaints there, that shows that they probably haven't been sitting around losing charge, and will have a good lifetime.

Very pleased with these batteries which are now operating in various devices around the house. The capacity seems to be good and can be charged quickly in the EBL 40 charger that we bought to go with these, as we wanted a charger that could charge individual batteries intelligently.

Used for the emergency cut off on my garage door. I nearly called someone out to fix my door until I saw the battery slot on the door itself. Very pleased as they worked first time and have done every day for 4+ months now. I'm sure they'll be going for a lot longer too. All in all good price and good purchase for me.

I bought these to go with EBL charger to complete a range of battery sizes in preparation for Christmas. Batteries came in plastic storage box which is great for keeping batteries in when not in use. Good to see that batteries have some charge so I can test toys etc without waiting to charge. Yet to see how they hold charge after multiple usage.
