Great Set to test out!
The pickle ball rackets work great, balls were a plus, keep the pack it come with. It's easy to carry back and forth from the house. They are not to heavy. I am still a beginner so others who may have more experience would recommend better from other reviews!!

The paddles are wooden.
The other women's paddles were some sort of plastic. I don't know if they run a lighter weight? Any way I had no problems, I just am not a good player!

Paddles okay, balls very low quality.
Paddles seem fine for beginners, however we had 2 of the 4 balls it comes with break the first time we played. If you're buying for rackets alone, go for it but the balls are low quality.

Hard Pass
These are wooden paddles that were already coming apart upon opening. The balls are softer than normal. I would only recommend maybe using them to practice with in your driveway.
