Got these to walk on the beach. Huge mistake. Top is mesh so sand goes right through and get stuck inside and even worse rubs against your feet when you walk. Impossible to clean out even after taking out the insole. There are so many of these on the market - go with a different one.

Let's say you are wearing these and walk over a pebble. Plan to be fall to your death. That is how thin they are. You could scratch the bottom of your foot while wearing these. They look nice, but pass if you need protection for the sole of your foot.
