Because of the freezing cold weather where I live. I miss walking outside in the winter months. I have tried these on the treadmill and now I can't go a day without using them. I used to hold 2lbs dumbbells while walking but I was always afraid of dropping them on the treadmill. These are actually really good and safe if you are using the treadmill. Great quality as well.

I wasn't sure the difference of a "walking weight" but these are so much more comfortable than regular hard hand weights. There is a strap to secure them to your hand, and they are soft and a bit squishy so not uncomfortable to hold for a length of time. Obviously these can be used indoors too. I feel they are safer too for example if one of my kids picked them up and dropped them, you wouldn't get hurt if it landed on your foot or it wouldn't damage anything. Also a good idea for an older person since it's quite easy to hold.

These are excellent walking weights! 2 pounds is definitely a great weight to use while walking. They are really comfortable to hold. They are soft on your skin as well. It just seems like they considered a lot while designing these. They are well made and great to use.

Love these weights. They are well made. They are soft enough to be comfortable with a cloth covering that feels good. The handles have some stretch, so those with larger hands should be able to use them. Much nicer than the other weights I've used in the past.

I ordered these in hopes they would be more comfortable to use than my hard, rather large hand weights. To my surprise they were more than I expected. I am a senior and have a bit of arthritis in my right hand. These weights are moldable and have a strap you can slip your hands through. I find them very comfortable and also can squish them as I walk benefiting my arthritic hand. Great improvement over the hard weights. Very pleased with my order. I would definitely recommend these weights.

These are very nice to add to my walking routine. They are easy to hold and grip. Each weight adds just the right amount to enhance my fat burning and to help strengthen my arms. I have arthritis in my hands and these have also helped a lot with the pain and stiffness.

These weights are soft and very comfortable. The added weight provides a boost for my daily workouts. I highly recommend them whether you're walking or running, or just using them as free weights.

I use this weight set when I am on my 15-minute breaks at work, walking the halls for exercise. I definitely feel it adds to my routine. It's just enough weight to feel like it's doing something for my arms. I just rest my arms at my side when carrying them, but I am sure you can move them many different ways. The material that these weights are encased in feels durable and it's also moisture-wicking. I've thought about how I will keep these clean. I think I will just wipe them down with a disinfectant wipe every month or so. The colors are nice; the teal and black combination is classy. This weight set isn't heavy; it's for a more milder addition to your work out; however, I do think they do the job for being a 4lb set. I would recommend.

These hand weights are an excellent addition to my daily walking routine. They're easy to grip and hold on to. At 2 pounds each, they are not too heavy and give my arms a great workout. (Be prepared to have mildly sore forearms and biceps for the first few days of carrying these with you on your walk. This isn't any different than starting any new exercise program, of course!} These hand weights appear to be durable and well-constructed. For the price, I highly recommend them!
