I purchased this pole saw because in my opinion it's the best product for my needs. I have many oak trees and others that i need to keep trimmed. Climbing a ladder with a chainsaw is not an option so i use my echo pole saw
I bought my ECHO PPF-225 to trim the trees and bushes that line my driveway. Why ECHO? I have owned an ECHO CS-EVL-440 since October 07, 1989. It is still going strong. I first used my PPF-225 for a trim job. I finished the project in less than half the time if I had used the loppers and telescopic pole pruner. I actually had a smile on my face upon completion. What a GREAT addition to my tools.
Glad I bought it.Works Great. It even cuts thick branches with no problem. Highly recommend people to purchase this product
Not disappointed and haven't been with an echo product yet.
not heavy & easy to work with and would recommend to everybody
I did my homework first before buying this unit And was not disappointed with the performance Am a truck driver and on days off I do a little lawn care work at my house and also at my parents Ranch.
The ppf225 is the cat's meow. Real handy for trimming. I had no idea such a small engine could do what this thing can do. I'd love to have the ppf2620 also. I have one Craftsman, one Poulan, one Stihl, one Husky and five Echo. Some "might" be slightly faster than an Echo, but that time is quickly made up not having to babysit the others. I'd sell the others, but I don't want someone complaining. In my opinion the Echo is to power equipment as the Lexus is to the automobile.
I put this pole saw through two chain sharpening in three days of at least 6 hrs. each. It never failed to start on, at the most, two pulls. As soon as I get back from vacation it will be tested again with the project to my wife has lined up for me.
I just purchased this 1 month ago and have used it several times. I have over 400 palm trees and a few oaks in my yard and this makes timing them a breeze. I don't know how I ever lived without it. Thank you Echo
I purchased this saw several month's ago. Have used it approximately four hour's total. It starts easy and runs good on non-ethanol gas. It tends to bounce if not held firmly against the branch. As with all polesaw's it get's heavier the longer it is used. A good saw.
