I will definitely say this little saw cuts like a hot knife through butter. It is truly a one handed chainsaw, I would definitely recommend it to someone else. The only thing I wish is that the price was about half what it cost.
Very nice machine. Best small, lightweight saw ever.
After lots of research on small top-handle saws (climbing saws), I chose the Echo 2511T with a 12” bar. I’ve been delighted with this small, lightweight saw! It is so light, starts really well with one or two pulls, and cuts better than I expected for such a small package. Well Done Echo!
I have had the CS-2511 for about a month now. I also have the bigger brother, the Timberwolf. This is so light and little you kinda think it is a toy. IT IS NOT A TOY! This thing is a tiny beast. There is some mild chatter in the middle of the blade when you are cutting through a 24" round log (Yes I use for some bigger work too), but it goes through it like butter. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL. I am a guy who cuts a lot of wood. This little guy starts easily when in a tree, limbs 4" branches like nothing and gets the job DONE.. I LOVE THIS GUY!!!
I went in to purchase a Sthil chainsaw, the salesman took me over the echo saw and you the 2511t in my hands. I was amazed by the weight of the saw. I was concerned about the power. After talking to the salesman and how he had used his I decided to purchase. He told me if I wasn’t happy I could bring it back. I came home and watched a lot of video reviews of the saw on you tube. I used the saw the very next day to cut down 7 trees and 28 shrubs it worked flawlessly. I have a farm boss and was dreading lugging it around all day. Using the 2511t was amazing it was light and very powerful! This is now my go to saw for everything now! Thank you echo!
Broke it in for a few minutes, low to medium RPM's. Adjusted the chain then, limbed for maybe 30 min of cutting over ~2 hrs. Very happy. It cuts with the best I've seen others using or that I have used. It's best because of it's weight and ease of control, then power.
Bought a month ago as my Christmas present. Have had a CS306 for 15+ years that still runs great. But this new one is fantastic. I live next to woods and are constantly cleaning up downed trees/limbs. It's almost like there is no saw there, it's so light, and with no loss of power. Will never be without one of these again.
I purchased this saw, because of its light weight, to help dismantle multiple trees downed by hurricane Florence back in September 2018. The saw does not disappoint as it has the power to take care of limbs up to 10 plus inches. The only improvement would be the ability to change to a 1/4 inch pitch by .043 gage bar/chain.
This replaced my old Stihl 019T. It is very easy to use because of its light weight and compact size. The power is very good. The size is perfect for a ladder. I may add a 14” bar when this one wears out to achieve more reach. The price for all these features is excellent. Much better than my comparable Stihl.
Very balanced and comfortable saw to use. I know this is a tree climbers saw, But it is perfect size for a homeowner and cuts very fast while limbing trees. Perfect saw for a older guy like me or anyone that just wants a light weight saw. I have a Stihl larger saw and a Stihl pole saw that are both very nice saws as well. However when it is tree trimming time, this little Echo will be my go to saw. I bought my Echo saw with the 14' bar. The extra bar lenght saves your back a little, when you are cutting limbs up on the ground. Make sure and register the saw , it has a terrific warranty. Just go ahead buy it you wont regret it.
