ECHO CS-2511T 12” 25cc 2-Cycle Gas Powered Chainsaw, Lightest in North America

I will definitely say this little saw cuts like a hot knife through butter. It is truly a one handed chainsaw, I would definitely recommend it to someone else. The only thing I wish is that the price was about half what it cost.

Great little HUGE saw! From initial purchase to first cutting, this was a dream.

My wife purchased this for us to prune and maintain a couple of properties. I have been impressed with how light it really is - after using it for long periods I don't get fatigued at all like I do sometimes do when using my bigger saws. It seemed like a toy when I looked at it at the dealer but it is truly a serious tool. It tends to be more difficult to start than my Auto tune and Mtronic saws especially when warm. Also the air filter seems to get dirty quickly but I maintain my saws well so it isn't an issue just worth noting. Overall very satisfied and feel it is of excellent quality.

This is my Stihl MS200t replacement and is really light and nimble. I prune trees on my property and this is a real joy to use. Starts easily and oils properly. Even the original chain is pretty good !! I use Red Armor premix and this should last me along time. Good camp saw too !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent chainsaw, runs great and cuts quick but best of all it is the LIGHTEST top handle saw I have used, lighter than a Stihl 201 by a wide margin and with a sharp chain it rips. Wouldn't want to climb with anything else.

Super light and ergonomic. A joy to use! After I got it and found out how powerful it is I sold a Stihl MS180C I had because this saw will handle all my needs with much less weight and without the Monkey-Tronic system deciding it wants to slow down when I pull the trigger.

I have had the CS-2511 for about a month now. I also have the bigger brother, the Timberwolf. This is so light and little you kinda think it is a toy. IT IS NOT A TOY! This thing is a tiny beast. There is some mild chatter in the middle of the blade when you are cutting through a 24" round log (Yes I use for some bigger work too), but it goes through it like butter. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL. I am a guy who cuts a lot of wood. This little guy starts easily when in a tree, limbs 4" branches like nothing and gets the job DONE.. I LOVE THIS GUY!!!

The saw itself is amazing the factory bar and chain setup leaves lots to be desired. The 3/8lp was very rough and choppy in the wood. I swapped to a 325lp and it's an amazing upgrade and a much better fit on the saw. Would love to see that offered from the factory.

Over all I like this saw . I got the 2511T for brush clearing. I would say that it would benefit from a little less aggressive chain . When the chain was new it would do a lot of jumping in the cut. It also has a bit of a tendency to want to stall out when you throttle it up to make a cut . But I think it will be fine after a trip to the shop. But I would buy it again for sure. The saw is perfect for brush clearing and limping up tree tops.
