Can't go wrong with Echo

Anonymous April 1, 2025

Durable with probably the best tried and true engine. I've left echo power tools for 2 or 3 years and they always start up without an issue. I like this saw because I'm getting old and it's light weight. Controls are intuitive and the chain tightener works well

ECHO CS-3510 Chainsaw

TooHip May 12, 2026

Old age crept up on me the last year or two and I am a wee bit less strong and able as I was some decades ago. A friend offered the opine that a smaller, less wieldy saw might be an option for someone long-in-the-tooth. Not certain to whom he was referring. Anyway...I started looking into smaller saws. ECHO kept rising to the top of my shortened attention span. Never heard of ECHO until I became a fan of that YouTube show "Chickanic". Good show, lots of good information. I decided if ECHO was good enough for her, I'd give it a try. Well, I'll be dip-dong-danged! Nice little saw. Fired up right proper. Cuts just fine. I'm a believer.

The little saw that could

BAMA May 19, 2026

Skeptical about the saw before I bought it , But turns out this thing is great does everything I need it to do . I was needing a smaller saw than my husky 359 but was worried about the echo felling trees. Turns out this thing is a little beast very happy with my purchase. Would buy again but I'm pretty sure this thing will last a long time considering the abuse I have already put this thing through.

Beast

Daniel H May 31, 2026

I am 65 years young and have most certainly had my share of chainsaws up to this point. I tried Echo I ditched stihl and now I wish I'd have got echo a whole lot sooner. I got the CS590 timberwolf it is a beast 20-in bar it is a beast. Starts easy just go through the procedures starts every time.

Great saw for homeowners with large yards!

Richard from Beavercreek April 24, 2026

A real workhorse! Light enough for me-a 76-year old-to easily handle, yet powerful enough to easily tackle any tree I might undertake. Starts easily and has plenty of power.

Powerful, yet lightweight and handy

FarmForce June 18, 2021

I have to admit I am an Echo equipment fan. All my garden tools are Echo. Blowers, Trimmers and now chain saw. I bought this to replace my 20-year-old Husqvarna 140 and wanted something small and light. I was a little torn between the CS-3510 and CS-4510, but decided on the CS-3510 as it is significantly lighter. I was surprised by the power of this saw compared to my old 140 that had actually a larger 40cc engine. Couldn't be happier with my choice.

Great product

Gimpy August 18, 2020

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and have cut up 2 large spruce trees. I have owned several of the major brands of saws and I rate the Echo right with them. I have had Echo grass trimmers and was impressed and wanted to try the Echo. I have not been disappointed. Great saw if you an old guy like me.

Light, fast, easy.

Jer2 March 16, 2022

I grew up on a farm back in the fifties using wood for heat, which meant quite a few hours with a saw and axe every year. Not the one from the farm, but I've had a now very old Echo for 45 years, and even though I've maintained it, it's both heavy and by today's standards pretty cantankerous. Even though there are a few still very good brands out there, every single piece of 2-stroke tool I own is Echo, but even so, when I realized I'm just too old and impatient to fuss with the old beast, i did LOTS of studying of the reviews and comments on the Echo and the other top brand. I finally gave a slight edge to the 3510, and I admit part of it was because I've NEVER had a bad tool from Echo. What a great little tool. Must weigh 2/3 of the old one, starts on the 2nd pull every time, and has enough power to slice through the (huge) dying red oak that was first on the list. As with any tool, you let IT do the work. Fast as the old one? Of course not, but way more than plenty for what I need, and just great to work with.

Light and Good Power to Weight Ratio Saw

pyromedic January 28, 2025

This is a nice saw with good power and light weight. In fact the power to weight ratio is one of the best. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that some external parts seem a bit flimsy. They are made of thin plastic, probably to keep weight down. The choke and kill switch levers seem flimsy as well. They serve the purpose and might be plenty strong. Time will tell.

CS-3510

VicN May 22, 2025

The saw is a light duty saw and light weight which I really like. The only down side is the bar and chain are kinda thin and seem the get pinched in the woood a lot. Overall I'm happy with it so far.
