After a thorough review of fuel powered blowers I selected the Echo PB-580T. I have a little less than 1 acre, with plenty of trees. So far this choice has turned out to be better than expected. The setup, first time pull to start has been exceptional. Better than that is the power. All around great choice!
Yes, pun was intended. Thos leaf blower is a game changer when it's time to cleanup around the property. While most lead blowers are effective on dry leaves, this one is also great on wet as well. I purchased the gutter kit as an add-on accessory. Absolutely no regrets.
Light for a back pack blower. Quiet, I forgot to put head phones on, got back to truck to fuel up, an there was my hearing protectors. No static shocks. Very comfortable. First X out Used the blower for over 8 hours. Moved 8 tarp loads 17X19 tarp. Felt good for 75 Year old. My wife says it was because your FIRST X using! newest wares off. Neighbor wife came over an borrow it. She like it. Her husband has a Huskavarna about the same size. There yard has old,Large trees front to back, She ran 2 tanks through machine.
An excellent blower for homeowners. I had a hand held Echo blower before. Also gas. And it was more powerful than any electric blower I tried. And I did try a few. No matter how good they are they can’t compare with gas powered equipment. This blower is as much better than the hand held one. It was easy to put together. I have used it three times and I have really enjoyed it so far.
This is my first Echo product & after 2 months I am very pleased with its performance & ease of use. My last 2 backpack blowers we Husqvarna products, (150bt). The first was bought around 2012 & lasted till 2021. I bought the same model in 2021 & was totally unhappy with the changes they made to the engine. It was hard to start & very sensitive to throttle adjustments. That said, I switched to Echo based on a Lawncare company owner’s recommendation. Starting is easy & power is great & steady.
For many years I have used corded blowers to remove the fall leafs from my yard in the Fall. I was tired of being tangled around trees and bushes. It was time for a change, after all the reviews I chose PB-580 and have not looked back
I'm brand loyal to Echo products. I currently own one Echo chainsaw, one Echo line trimmer, and two ( PB- 500 H & PB- 580-T ) Echo backpack leaf blowers. All four preform great. I wouldn't think about buy any other brand.
The blower starts easily and runs well. The shoulder straps are comfortable, but a strap across the abdomen would help keep the shoulder straps from slipping off one shoulder or the other. Overall the machine is a good value and works very well.
Works as expected, just like the 35+ year old PB-400 that is finally retired. But I wish the bent tube for the end was still included with the blower like every company used to include.
Would of been nice to have a owners manual physical copy. Not easy to start even after putting mid grade fuel and using your 2 cycle oil. Would it be possible to get a owners manual that I can hold on to.
