Echo PB-9010T Backpack Blower

I run the Echo PB-9010T and it is an absolute beast. The power is unreal — it moves heavy grass clippings, wet leaves, and debris fast, saving serious time on jobs. Throttle response is smooth and instant, and the blower feels solid and well built. This blower is clearly designed for commercial use. It starts easy, runs strong, and performs exactly as expected every time. Worth every dollar.

I’m the proud owner of an older Brother ECHO PB-6000 backpack blower, along with other ECHO power equipment and have logged countless hours with it over the past 30+ years as a homeowner on this blower. This was at the time the BIGGEST and BADDEST backpack blower ECHO made at that time. During the fall months each year, starting in 1992, I put it to the test almost daily, and its performance, durability, and unwavering reliability have been nothing short of amazing. I only had to put one ignition coil in it (Recall) and a carburetor fuel needle value; that's it. I have enjoyed its faithfulness as a true friend and workhorse to get me through the insanity of the fall season cleanups. So, when it came time to upgrade, I didn’t hesitate to go with the ECHO PB-9010T. I knew ECHO wouldn’t let me down—and after less than a week of use, I can confidently say I have no regrets about that decision. It’s everything my old machine was and more. This thing is an absolute beast. It purrs like a kitty and roars like a lion on steroids. It has more blowing power than I could have imagined or dreamed. It shaves a ton of time off my property cleanup and does it with ease—like a walk in the park. My hat’s off to the engineers at ECHO’s R&D department, this is one incredible backpack blower. I’d highly recommend this machine to both homeowners and landscapers who want the ultimate edge against trees and everything they drop on you during the best season of the year—fall. Power is not lacking! I purchased this blower because my Husqvarna hand held blower wasn't getting the job done with ten trees on my property. This was the best purchase for me as far as getting the leaves blown in a pile and paying a guy to suck them up for 60 bucks, what a time saver!

Very powerful blower! It’s a massive time saver, which makes the cost of this blower completely justified to me. Currently, this is the second most powerful blower in the world, however, the most powerful blower (Redmax EBZ9000) has a computer controlled carburetor, i would rather not find out the replacement cost of any of the electronics involved in that. I don’t think I’d want a more powerful blower anyways, this Echo blower is borderline too powerful to handle as it is. With all that said, I 100% recommend this blower, and hearing protection!!

I had the blower for about two years! it needed a new motor. Of course, it wasn’t under warranty, which was extremely disappointing and expensive, especially right at the worst timing of the Leaf season.

Great machine very powerful. Definitely works great for wet grass spreading it out on the lawn.

They have moved out and mostly by myself. My Boss has one of these and convinced me to give it a try. Kicking myself for not getting it years ago…. New neighbors moved in and I took care of theirs in 15-20 mins. Just amazing power.

I love this machine ...third time is the charm. I bought a Yardmax 150MPH 1200CFM 209cc walk behind blower from Home Depot $350 It was a nightmare to pull around the yard (and I was a college wrestler) and it wasn't mobile to move around quickly. I returned it. I also tried the top-of-the-line battery operated, back-pack unit from from Ryobi 40V HP Brushless $429. It didn't have the stamina to finish the job. It was super frustrating. It came with 2-40V batteries but they died in a total of 30 minutes. I had two other 40V batteries (b/c I own a Ryobi lawnmower which I love), but even with all 4- batteries I could not finish my 1/2 acre lot. With all 4-batteries, it couldn't even last 1 hr on the high-speed setting. It was a total waste of time. I decided to buy the Echo $695 Echo X Series Back Pack Blower With Tube Throttle 79.9Cc PB-9010T. I bought the 50:1 premixed gas. It fired right up. I did my lawn in 30 mins vs 3hrs. The thing is an air-cannon. I was taking out 15-ft sections at a time. I went from hating leaves to looking forward to them. Spend the extra money!

This is hands down the best blower I’ve ever had, it always starts within 2 to 3 pulls, has more than enough power for my needs and the build quality is superior to any other brand I’ve had in the past, will buy again.

WARNING - WARNING - WARNING TO ANYONE READING THIS! DO NOT BUY THIS FROM WALMART, IT'S COMING FROM A 3RD PARTY SELLER AND ACORDING TO ECHO IT WILL NOT BE UNDER THE 5 YEAR WARRENTY. MINE WAS USED AND DAMAGED, WAL-MART GAVE ME A HARD TIME RETURNING IT! BUY IT FROM YOUR LOCAL AUTHORIZE DEALER. WITH THAT SAID THE LEAF BLOWER IS THE MOST POWERFUL ONE YOU CAN BUY AND I DO RECOMEND BUYING IT.
