Echo PE-2620S 25.4 cc X Series Straight Shaft Edger

Purchased an echo trimmer approximately 17 years ago and it was still running after 15 years. Gave it to an in-law and purchased a high end 4 cycle Honda which wouldn't start after one season after being properly stored for the winter. Fell back on a proven brand and purchased both the 2620T trimmer and the 2620S edger. After a month of use, using only premium fuel from Shell, living in the past. Just hoping I get just 5 years out of these commercial products used exclusively at my personal home will make my purchases worth their cost.

After having the echo PE-225 for several years using it commercially, I purchased the PE-2620S. The PE-2620S is a monster. More powerful and with the straight shaft, is easy to use ! It's worth the money! I only have Echo products!

I've used it on numerous overgrown edges and curbs. It'll go by itself if you let it. As I'd like to say. Hold it up and let it eat!

I've been using Echo equipment for years so I decided to short my business with Echo equipment. Through my personal use i've only had to change the head once in over 10 years.

Powerful and EZ to use. Starts quickly and runs smooth. Excited to see that the blade stops rotating when at idle speed. Good safety features. Mine is the straight shaft which turns out to be a good choice because the machine is more balanced and easier to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After breaking another curved shaft edger and failing to edge with my string trimmer I called up my local dealer and brought home my PE-2620S and have used it for 2 seasons. It has more than enough power to zip through the first edge of the season on my 450ish feet worth of edges along with several hundred feet of planters I try to keep tidy. The rest of the season makes keeping a tidy edge a minutes long task. Maintenance is easy and it even has a grease port for the head!

I bought this edger brought it home and put to work, very happy with its performance, good power easy to start. I have over 600 ft of sidewalks to edge and would highly recommend this edger

been buying echo for over 15 years, no reason to stop. great product

It vibrates when you're edging tough edges most of the time. Brought it to two different dealers and they both said nothing was wrong with the unit. Neither my redmax nor Stihl ever vibrated like this echo does
